    So sorry to hear :(

Can I make a suggestion? Why not pack all Rusty's things up in a box and put it away out of sight. When you feel ready you can sort through and keep what you want. You may be grateful in time for those bits and pieces.

    RIP Rusty. X

Thanks for all the condolences gys/girls, it is very much appreciated.

Have been out today, mainly to get out of the funk with being in the house. Went window shopping , then stopped at a really good chinese on way home, I was fretting about time, as rusty was due to be fed, then remebered.

Have been getting all the photos of him I can find together on a memory stick to go and get prints done( found over 200). OH is into card making and scrap books, so wants to amke a nice one up of his life. We decided to keep two of his beds, one is by side of OH bed and other ( alladin blanket) is by mine where it always was.

Will be better next week when we get his ashes home, I know it isn't a whole him, but at least it is something.
OH was in kitchen before and got tingles all over his body. he said ''Have you come back for some chicken Russ?'' yje tingleing went more accute then stopped. I am hearing him shake his colar ( unmistakable noise) 3 times today, hope we keep hearing things, have pleaded with him to haunt me! lol.

His dog lead is at front door and his collar is by his pictures. We are going to keep all his toys he has had over the years. I am finding looking at his photos today helpful, the pain in my heart is still there, a little less today. Some of the photo's we have have made me laugh loudly today, ones of his 14th birthday, we bought an M&S sandwich cake and put big 14 candles on it. He actually blew the candles out with a sneeze, then had 1/2 the cake in his mouth, before we could get it away from him. lol We missed out on some.

He has 2 memory foam mattresses and a basket which cost me £70 which are going to animal aid charity round where we live, as well as the dog food, bowls and choccie drops.
