er - I didnt realise you could warm up tinned rice pudding until I got married and my OH insisted on hot rice pudding! not that hot rice pudding isnt nice - but I still prefer it cold (with sugar sprinkled on top).0

What about tinned chickpeas, red kidney beans,butterbeans, sweetcorn etc? Can you just rinse those and eat them?0

Yes. Saves on soaking them overnight. Can't believe you can still buy dried pulses. I remember the days when Mum made a chilli and had the kidney beans in a pyrex bowl soaking.0 -

They will be fine, just make up a small half mug to check they still thicken OK
Mine are always out of date & TBH I never even considered not using themEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens0
