Part Exchanging with a Fault??

I'm buying a new car and part exchanging mine, the only problem is the drivers side central locking doesn't open the door, (it does lock it though) but you need to use the key to unlock the drivers side. Now do I tell them this or not? I can play ignorant cause it's my g/f's car. I just don't want them to knock a load of…
