house be a bin... left ear really sore again and the side of my face is swollen.. I have poked all the side of the face and neck and inside my mouth and I cannot locate the source of the pain..

Ooh, i had something similar during my exams, was awful! I couldnt actually open my mouth properly, struggled to eat anything that wasnt really thin:rotfl:
Inside at the back of my mouth was very tender, just kept gargling with mouthwash, eventually went away.

I'm giving up on the idea of cleaning the fridge, it's just too much for one week :D

On the bright side, so far this morning I've done:

    • three loads of washing
    • hung two loads out on the line, the rest to dry inside
    • realised that our kitchen tap is about to disintegrate (EEK!)
    • S&S bathroom and kitchen
    • finished list from bathroom yesterday
    • done dishes
    • emptied bins

That'll do for today I think!

So far I have sorted the laundry, shoved a load in the WM, cleaned the utility room sink so it is fit to use, and done some clearing in the shed so that I can put all my cousin's decorating stuff in there and out of the way. This meant sorting out quite a bit of wood which had just been shoved in there by helpful men  and needs cutting smaller so it can be bagged up. Log and kindling baskets are now full - hopefully the fire is the only heating i'll need from now until next winter.

Need to go to the tip sometime and drop off my dry cleaning.

I guess I should start gathering up the decorating stuff to shove in the shed, as at least then it will be out of my way...

Hello everyone, hope you are all well xx

Been busy here but not with housework, I'm afraid!!

After our 2 weeks holiday I started a new job in the school. Now, as well as working lunchtime and breakfast club every day, I'm doing 4 hours a day one to one in the class.
As a result housework has taken a back seat :(
DD is out with Brownies today, and I have done 2 loads of washing and some ironing. I have also popped to the shop for a few bits.

  • The biggest shock has been the change in DD. She has changed into a carbon copy of her father - aggressive, abusive, violent even - and most likely with his encouragement.

All I can say is that she's going to have a shock when she wants something and it doesn't fit in with what he wants or thinks people of what he believes is his social class should do, when he realises just what she is like, or, most likely, when he realises just how much she costs.

Whatever. I'm more sad for the person he appears to be moulding her into, as that person isn't likely to have a happy life, they're going to be continually resentful and angry at the world, always looking for the faults and negatives of anything and never just relaxing and going with the moment.

Anyhow, I baked some bread this morning. There isn't much left. Or butter :)

So I have to go out and get more flour, butter and teabags.

Oh, and assuming the Ninja Kitten doesn't keel over from the string he ate Thursday (the vet said keep an eye on him over the weekend), I need to get some catfood as well.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

Sounds as though a :grouphug: is needed today.

I hope the pain goes away Piggers, that is just so miserable.

I hope you had a fabulous evening Bossymoo.

Today I am just going with the flow, my legs and balance have gone on holiday, so its a charriot day today:mad: I made up a cloth baby book yesterday and I just have to embroider all the babes birth details on the cover page, then the final putting together can be done. The tongue and groove for the chillout/gardenroom came yesterday, so DH is up in his shed, banging and sawing. He has s&s the kitchen and shower room, showered me and washed my hair, what :A he is. We were supposed to be going out to supper tonight but as my friends house is not charriot acessible we will have to stay in:mad:

    Have a good day Flyfriends

Jojo you do need cat food if the poor thing resorted to string! lol. One of mine eats foil! It sounds a sorry state of affairs.. stupid KH and silly DD not realising you just want the best for her!

Miasnanny.. could you ask your friend to come do supper at yours>? I am sure if she is a good friend it won't be a problem. :D

    Washing out
    ear still not fallen off..
children bored and driving me to distraction with their whining..
cat demanding to be punted over the fence by constantly yowling at the wall..

Best go try to do some more slavery seeing as noone else appears to be moving!

Can anyone recommend any websites or books that I can use to get some ideas for our garden?

Washing all done and out on the line so I guess I will have to start the ironing soon.
