1 for the ladies - how do you keep yours?

On the back of the armpit thread that is ongoing about whether to remove hair or not, I am wondering what you all do about maintaining your lady garden.

If all the magazines I read are correct, the majority of the population either removes it all or just leaves a landing strip but I don't believe that it the case. In !!!!!! and lads mags it all seems to be gone but I am wondering if I am in the minority in not removing it all.

Personally, I tend to trim and tidy rather than remove it all but tend to take more off when I am in a relationship and am considering epilating it off but not sure I am brave enough.

So, what do you do and to put in in context, can you give a rough idea of your age.
If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you always got!

Early forties. I do nothing to mine except tweeze any escaping stragglers prior to a holiday (when I'll be wearing a swimming costume). Hairy and ... well, not so much proud as not bothered!!

Mid twenties. Remove all but a 'landing strip' (what a horrible phrase!) Haven't had loads of lovers by any stretch of the imagination but have generally got the impression that men would be very surprised if it was au naturel... Also, feel it's more hygienic particularly at that TOTM!

So true ;)! I attend to myself with my Veet waxpot, pits and muff take no nore than 5 mins once a week and very neat and tidy they are too, making very high leg swimsuits possible. I'd be mortified spotted with a full bush, but there are plenty of ladies at the club that clearly don't share my opinion on topiary work.

I left mine alone for 2 months after my last relationship ended and expected it to be agony to smooth out, but it was actually quite bearable. I'm hurtling towards 40 and have been waxing and plucking since I was 13 (never shaved anywhere).

Where's the armpit hair thread? must of missed that one, I remove everything by shaving I do vary the "style" according to mood but its normally either nothing, a landing strip or short and small triangle, I'm 43, I would seriously not recommend epilating that area, I tried with just the bikini line and pain doesn't even come into it, not to mention redness, soreness and ingrowing hairs, really not a good look:)
Thank you for this site Martin

I just don't like the feeling of being hairy, it doesn't feel "right" for me, its kind of hard to explain. I just prefer the way it looks and feels hair free :o

Veet? Down there? You're so very brave - I tried that once and it brought a whole new meaning to the story of the burning bush ...

Persist dear, it gets easier and gives a much nicer result.

I sort of get that...the more you remove, the more fascinating it becomes! But I certainly don't think about it day-to-day.
