Never have removed the hair there and shocked that so many seem to have bought into the idea that somehow hair is dirty and or not natural! However it's a personal choice, just not mine.
Would love to know when this became the 'norm'Lost my soulmate so life is empty.
I can bear pain myself, he said softly, but I couldna bear yours. That would take more strength than I have -

Oh... this thread has reminded me of when my husband decided to keep me company while I was was waiting to be called in for an appointment at the gynaecology clinic last year. We turned up a little early, before they were even seeing their first appointment, and found that plenty of others had had the same idea. Without thinking (as usual!), my husband said 'There are a lot of eager beavers here this morning!'. The floor never opens up when you want it to
I'm mostly 'all natural', especially when the medics have an 'appointment to view' coming up. I can't help feeling that any pruning down there will just draw attention to it. I know it's silly - it's not as if they're judging Chelsea Flower Show. On the other hand, I wonder if they're fighting off mental images of the scenes from 'The Invasion Of The Triffids' while they're down there.
With another round of gynae appointments due to start in a few weeks (and hubby staying at home!), it's interesting to know how everyone else approaches the delicate question of knicker shrubberyFreddie Starr Ate My Signature

Lol my DD saw me in the buff today (she's 3) and she asked why I had hair in my bottom (as in the lady garden) :rotfl::rotfl:
I trim, no waxing or shaving or epilation. I find a small beard trimmer does the job nicelyI have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

Christ almighty! Mine is all natural apart from the odd trim every few months! I did have it waxed once :@. Never again and it put OH off as well; he likened it to a prepubescent pudenda and he wasn't going there!!
Why is au naturale considered dirty?? It's cleansed at least twice daily (joys of a bidet) I have often wondered ( a la Billy Conolly) whether it would reach my knees if I didn't trim itNoli nothis permittere te terere

I know what you mean about drawing attention to it, when i was pregnant with dd1 i did wonder if maybe i should grow some back as i was worried it would just look more......how to put this......in ya face!:o But i needn't of worried though as the state of my lady garden was the last thing on my mind:rotfl:Raven. :grinheart:grinheart:grinheart0 -
au naturel, late 30's and never had any complaints, surprise or suggestions that it be otherwise from anyone who's got close enough to know!People seem not to see that their opinion of the world is also a confession of character.

I've never shaved it, although I do trim it with scissors. I let it grow for a few months over the winter and I must say I quite liked the cushioning effect. I couldn't help twiddling with it though.0

I don't know. I started shaving from my teens, no one influenced me i just didn;t like the feeling of hair. Plus i suffer with heavy periods and would find the blood would matter in the hair:eek: I felt so much more cleaning when i shaved it:o I thought at the time i was in the minority and most people had hair but as it turned out alot of my friends at the time shaved too.Raven. :grinheart:grinheart:grinheart0 -

what's marleyboy's view on that?!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:50 and i havent had any hair there for about 30 years. I just shave it off at the same time i shave my legs.
yeah me too, 2 birds and all that. I just feel cleaner without hair there so once or twice a week give it all a quick trim in my morning shower. a lot of people are talking about epilators - are they really that good? I'd be scared to put something electrical "down there"!0
