Dunno if it happens any more, but people nicking hosted images on ebay used to get a shock when they were replaced with hardcore pron images with the same filename.illegitimi non carborundum0

Was this using the 'report this item' button on the offending item listing page?
I have 4 sellers using both my photos and full description at the moment, and have reported them using this feature about 5 times in the last 2 weeks and nothing has been done!
I wouldn't normally bother but, they are able to undercut me by a massive amount because they are 'stolen' items.(and before it starts, they are almost certainlly 100% stolen because the other items they are selling are not available for sale to trade or public)
I even tried reporting the countless sellers who are selling these stolen goods to ebay only to be told that they are not breaking any ebay rules!
Any phone contact no for ebay?
I also have someone using one of my photos at the moment, and ditto eBay will not remove it.Time to watermark everything.

No eBay don't bother doing anything about copied photos anymore. They use to remove the persons auctions many moons ago.Whether we win or lose, that we played at all was a winning decision.2011 wins £12,2922012 wins ...Thank you to all who post on here!!!! :A0

Another seller used my picture and listed their item for a shorter time which then looked as though I had used their image. My bidder cancelled.0

Someone bought something from me and it didnt fit them. They used my photos to try and sell the same item, and i didnt mind one bit. Not sure how on earth that makes them a liar??? My pictures were taken on a dummy so they item could be pictured clearly, they didnt have the same equipment, so no I think its absoultey fine to use photos in this situation. But I have more important things to worry about so maybe thats just me.
I agree with you about using the same photo after they have bought the item but...
1. Buyer could ask your permission. Manners.
And a very important 2. your buyer had listed AFTER they bought the item from you. If being listed whilst your auction/BIN was still going, it could potentially have an affect on the final price/sale of your item.
I have important things to worry about. One of them being money and hope to make some by selling my old stuff on ebay.
I didn't report the other seller to ebay. I contacted them pointing out that using my photo can potentially confuse buyers and affect both our sales so could they change the photo. Other seller removed item entirely and haven't relisted it :think:0
