so I have not done any damage replying in the first instance?...

Nah you have actually made it better if in the slim chance they did try it on you could show you had tried to resolve it by proving you paid!

I am sure Judge Latif would love to see them again! ;)

moogie, dont know how ive missed you at the peel centre??? as i spend alot of time wandering the car park therfe and putting SCAM notices on cars with fake tickets on,,,,anyway worry not, you have not been fined as scum excell have NO LEGAL right to fine people,,only if you recieve a PENALTY charge notice on your car (issued by police/traffic warden) is legally backed,,,what you have is a PARKING charge notice=fake/con/scam/merely an unenforceable invoice which equates to loo paper and nothing can/will be done as a result,,so fear not , please read the stickies,as further threat o grams from roxburghe (we have zero powers) debt collectors and the phoney/ pretend solicitor,,graham white,,these two clowns are ALL PART OF THE SCAM,,,so ignore and from now on do not engage in dialogue/reply to them,,similar scam operates on newbridge lane at aldi (parking eye) another scamster firm at work.
GOOD work bondy lad keep up the good work and spread the word :D
PPCs say its carpark management, BPA say its raising standards..... we all know its just about raking in the revenue.
  • again thanks for the replies.....filling me full of confidence to forget the whole thing...

I was tempted to write back and ask for my ticket back, to see if they will return my evidence...

they quoted in the letter that it my responsibility to make sure the ticket is visible.....which i did

funny how it is sill my responsibility that the wind entered my car thru the sunroof and blew it over while i was not in attendance...

they even quoted about putting it on a flat dashboard like other customers do...i dont know who has a flat dashboard....there aint one in a a freelander!

sounds like they have milked this cow before!!

It is all fairly standard stuff. They simply don't get enough money in by being honest, their profits derive from the fake tickets. Hence all the usual spiel.

Unfortunately there are a lot of mugs out there who swallow their codswallop.

You are not one now; make sure you put all your friends and family wise as well.

Not displaying a ticket is a contravention on real council parking tickets. Sadly for Excel, it isn't something you can use when quoting breach of contract terms, in that it hasn't actually contributed to any losses incurred by them or the car park owner.

Yet anothet application of a PPC trying to impersonate a council penalty charge notice.

    Ignore the buffoons!

    Hi

Seen a few bits of info knocking about on this but mine is as follows

Parked , next to the machine, got ticket, left it on the dash, but while away it must have blown off as I had left my sunroof open

Sent ticket and form supplied to get it scrubbed.

As you can imagine , got a reply today . I still owe £60?...

    They have canned my appeal.

They have issued the normal pay now or it goes up then court suff.

I even said they should supply a sticky back with the ticket to ensure this does not happen to other peeps.

They addressed this but still say i broke their terms and conditions as I left the car with the ticket NOT visible. If i was going to do that ....what was the point in me even buying a ticket!...It blew off while i was away.

To pay or not to pay?......

As I have never had any sort of parking ticket ever!( i kid you not)

I wondered what I should do.

They have even kept my correspondence including my ticket....
Naturally I took scans of everything before I sent it.

I could do without the worry of this really.....I see lots of advice saying ignore them but is that REALLY the case?

    many thanks

I was wondering about getting some leaf blowers and a trade stall at next year's Parkex exhibition. :)

    Ted Evans would be interested.

No, on second thoughts, he's already sorted.

im new to this site and not sure how to start a new thread but i had a ticket fron excel at peel centre stockport last week. I got to peel centre at just past six and went into toys r us to get change. wehn i got back there was a ticket stating i was seen adn six and ticket issued at ten past six. My dispute is that i wasnt even there at six. i wrote to them explaining that i want proof that i was there at six as they wont find it and they have just wrote back asking for me to get proof!!! they have stated it is goodwill that they give a few mins to get change and not the rule. Is it worth me contact the surveillance at peel centre or is it upto excel to prove this as they are the ones stating i was there when i wasnt. any help would be apprecaited x x
