I was sooo excited, have always wanted a set of these, but now very disappointed because not enough bowls or small plates to make a set. Not sure if i should just get what I can and hope that they have more at the same price in the future?

Oh, I shall use my set, that's another thing I started doing, using my "best" instead of just giving it cupboard space. I get a lot of pleasure from doing that.

Do you have an outlet near you? We were able to get some items from ours in Swindon and the rest from the website.

Alternatively, have you tried phoning Customer Services? They were incredibly helpful to me and they may be able to help you find what you are looking for even if it isn't on the website (if it is still available in their outlet store).

Me too, I was wondering why I hadn't heard, then I reminded myself I only ordered on the weekend, Sunday I think, and it was a holiday on Monday! Glad I'm not the only one who is super excited! I'm already anticipating opening the parcel.

There were only 2 patterns of oatmeal bowl and 6" plates left when I ordered, so I got 3 of each but 6 different 10" plates - they are all so pretty that I am happy to have duplicates and at the rate I (and DGS) break things, I probably wont have duplicates for long :rotfl:

Portmeirion will do well out of this, look at all the new collectors from this thread! I was given one holly and the ivy plate about 10 years ago and have been collecting it ever since. When I got it out last december I discovered I have pretty much the whole set, including servewear to seat 10 people. It must be over £1000 worth. I have bought some and been given lots for christmas and birthdays. I cant tell which items are firsts and which are seconds.

I'll have to let my family know im onto the botanic garden now!
