Basically, the E6 has a much better screen, a better camera, it runs on Nokia Belle (which was only released in February) rather than the older S60 3.2, and is better built.

Read the gsmarena reviews in that link of both phones to give you an idea of what to expect.

Thanks - there is one thing worrying me
The phone is - pretty small - will the keyboard be easy to use ?

I have emailed carphone warehouse to see what my old E90 would be worth in Part Ex - they appear to charge virtually double what http://www.kingofgadgets.co.uk/ charge - so unless CPW have a "price guarantee" - they won't be getting my custom...

It won't be as good as your E90 (you'd need an E7 for a keyboard as good as that) but it shouldn't be difficult to use.

Have a go with a Blackberry Bold, the keyboards are reasonably similar so if the Blackberry's manageable the E6 should be as well.

Nokia is at least a ''free' system - BB uses proprietory technology that - if it goes down - will leave you stranded until their servers get back up again. There's enough difficulty to get the mobile network to do what it should, without adding RIM's servers to the mix. My E90 died last year, and I switched to an iPhone 4 with a BT keypad, and it has been superb.

According to http://!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!/cash-for-phones.html - (which is part of carphone warehouse) my old E90 is worth about £60 in part ex - If I did get £60, I would be more than happy !!
    And No - I would prefer to spend £180 on a new E6 than a second hand E7 !!

OK - I have ordered an E7 from SimplyElectronics at £245.90 inc a screen protector - should be here within 5-8 days....
I take it that Symbian can be upgraded to Belle for free ?

Next step - dispose of my old E90 !!
    Thanks

Yes, upgrades to Belle are free if you need to upgrade, it will probably come running it already though.

The firmware version will be 111.030.0609 if it is, dial *#0000# to bring up the firmware version.
