Nokia E90 replacement advice
I have a Nokia E90 smart-phone (the one with a full QWERTY keyboard) which is now 5 years old and is in need of replacement - I need to buy the phone myself rather than getting one on contract
What is the best phone out there with a QWERT keyboard and a decent size screen that can browse the net, email, camera etc ?
It should also be at least 3g, bluetooth etc
and doesn't cost too much ...

How much would be 'too much' for you ? As obviously this would differ for everyone. Also, which network are you on, as locked PAYG deals are available but differ by network...0

Perhaps £200 - and I am with Tmobile but want the continued ability to cancel and move with one months notice (as I have at the moment) - hence an unlocked one is necessary
The E90 cost (my employers) over £700, when originally purchased !!0 -
Sticking with Nokia may be a good idea. The E5 has 3g, bluetooth, wifi etc and it's pretty cheap.
If you want to try something a little different then the HTC cha cha might be an option. I quite like the keyboard on that! With that you also get access to the Google play store and get to play around with more apps etc too.
Another Android option is the Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini Pro which is decent.
Blackberries are also another option but I don't really like them so I never recommend them!0 -
Nokia E7 is about right for your needs.0

E7 definitely. Make sure it's running Nokia Belle though.0

Thanks - the E7 does look rather tasty - But they cost almost £400 - so it looks as if the E5 is going to be a more realistic option @ around £140
If I get a sim free / unlocked one - do I need to tell my current provider (tmobile) of the change - or do I just swap sims ?0 -
What about the E6? Better all round phone than the E5 for not much more money.

You don't have to tell T-Mobile anything, just swap your sim over0 -

What is the difference between the E5 and E6 ?0 -
OK - I am convinced (seen the comparison on Nokia) - the problem now is "finding somewhere with stock in - at a good price"0

Basically, the E6 has a much better screen, a better camera, it runs on Nokia Belle (which was only released in February) rather than the older S60 3.2, and is better built.
Read the gsmarena reviews in that link of both phones to give you an idea of what to expect.0
