I have already used the number and been put through to the broadband dept. to discuss the offer.

    As have others.

Is it a coincidence that you work for Cheshire Council and the geographic number into moneysupermarket is a Chester one - or do you have an undeclared personal interest?

It is undisputed that calling 0845 numbers is not low cost. Someone profits from their use. Whereas using the geograhic number means inclusive packages can be used.

Someone makes a profit out of the extra cost!

If you want to learn why there is resistance to using 0845/0870 etc numbers, start with this article:

    http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/cgi-bin/viewnews.cgi?newsid1086555604,78422,

My posting of the Chester number was in response to another poster asking for it and they have posted back to confirm that it worked.

It seems from your posts that you have been ringinging it more than once today, yet you seem worried about all the hard work the receptionist now has to do connecting potential customers to the correct department?

As far as moneymiser is concerned, he did post about this free router in another thread, and I thanked him for doing so at the time.

    What is the problem?
  • Listen because I will only say this once,

You only thanked moneymiser after being proved wrong, were I work and who i work for is none of anyone’s business, trying to discredit me won't work. As you haven’t understood, the point is the 0845 is not for profit as the charge is less than 7p.
People could call there reception number before you posted :T now you can't.
I have called the number twice but Im clearly not as "Firm",,(pushy) as you are.
I have no problem it was a simple point.
    You were wrong,,,again,,,.:rotfl:
Look since nothing anyone says means anything to you im going to leave you now, have work to do.

    good luck:A

    stay cool:cool:

Well that sounds good news for the Cheshire ratepayers then (they've been a bit worried what they were paying their servants for - it seemed they were using work time making nuisance calls to moneysupermarket's receptionist maybe?)
  • Im still in my office, in my house, on my day off Queen'e so do grow up:j

I would say at this point stay cool,
but your just not, now I really do have work to do so either post usable comments of stop taking up server space.

Don't go with be they are the WORST!!! I ended up threatening with court case to get my money back because they couldn't give me an internet connection when they were taking money off me.

All of their support/call staff are in India. terrible company.
