That depends on your parameters for 'good'.
If your definiion of a good investment is that it returns 10% instantly, or indeed in the first couple of years, then I doubt you would find any investment to be 'good'. Indeed most multinational, billion dollar businesses reported a loss when they first started business. Did you view the likes of Amazon and ebay as 'failures' in their first couple of years, do you view them as a success now, in hindsight?0 -

Here's a thought. Go back to that thread, and either see where I quoted chucky and you'll see what he posted (Ignore only works until someone who you don't have on Ignore quotes them) or alternatively you can click on chucky's comment and it will open up for you, even if you have him on Ingore.
Jeeze shortchanged, do I really have to explain everything to you down to this level? You've been on this forum a few months now, is it not starting to sink in? It's hardly rocket science now is it?

-2.4% eh ?
No Spring bounce this year then, just a Bull flounce.
And I see the average price, according to Halifax, is now less than £160K.
Anyone seen Sibley ?

Last I heard he was in Australia on holiday with his Thai girlfriend and someone was paying his mortgage for him on his UK house.
Not seen you for a while Derv - what are you up to?
Been a bit busy with work and upgrading my PC.
Re Sibley. Maybe he should get back from his holiday and continue his "crusade" to not allow UK house prices to fall.30 Year Challenge : To be 30 years older. Equity : Don't know, don't care much. Savings : That's asking for ridicule.0 -
