Halifax... Down -2.4% for April

Halifax treats a month as something like 25th day of previous month to 24th of this month. It could be (this is a guess) if they're including the Lloyds TSB portfolio of mortgages approvals which may have different days in the monthly window so giving it a bit of skew each month but over a year it's flattened out.Year-on-year down 0.5%. The Halifax seems to be a particularly noisy figure on a month-by-month basis at the moment.0
