On the EM site journey planner enter from Wimbledon then type lon into the to box and scroll down to "London Underground z1-6" and your dates, number of adults and children add F&F railcard, click book now and select the off peak day travelcard option. You will have to do this for each day you are in London, i.e. out and return the same day and same again for the next day etc.

It is not allowing dates after early August but do a dummy run for another date earlier to see how it works. Off peak is after 10 but all day weekends. No need to go anywhere near Wimbledon to use this ticket.

    Hi pompeyrich

Just to be sure; can I do this now in advance of my trip to London in June, and it will be OK to start using the travelcard straight away on my arrival at Kingscross? Even though I type Wimbledon in the box?

    Thanks

I often use this method to get a discount, however if arriving at Kings Cross it might be better to use Finsbury Park as your "from" station as it is only 10 mins from KX.

Going a bit away from the grabbit here, maybe best to ask anymore travel questions on the public transport section of the board.

This offer is still on so I've just registered as we will be using a lot of train travel for the Olympics so thought others might think about doing this offer. The passwords you will need to submit the online application following the link in the OP are very clearly stated in the very first post. Thnx so much to OP as this is going to save us a lot of money.

Thanks for this OP, I received mine this morning too. On looking over the T&C I notice it says the child using the card must be aged between 5 and 15 (children under 5 travel free), however I'm sure I remember reading somewhere that it is acceptable to buy a ticket for a child under 5 in order to get the discount. It would also be helpful to have a booked seat for the child under 5. I've checked and it is cheaper to do it this way compared to buying two standard adult tickets. Does anyone know the rules around this?
