Thanks for this OP, I received mine this morning too. On looking over the T&C I notice it says the child using the card must be aged between 5 and 15 (children under 5 travel free), however I'm sure I remember reading somewhere that it is acceptable to buy a ticket for a child under 5 in order to get the discount. It would also be helpful to have a booked seat for the child under 5. I've checked and it is cheaper to do it this way compared to buying two standard adult tickets. Does anyone know the rules around this?
I bought a tickets for my DD as Scotrail had a promotion for free entry into certain attractions when you show your rail ticket. It was the 2 kids go free with any adult promotion and as i was paying for DS anyway I used DD as the other kid even though at 4 she was free anyway. I'm sure they wouldnt mind but would be good if someone with a younger child could confirm for you. It may not have looked obvious to rail staff that my DD wasnt 5.0 -
I've done it before
It says here, at the bottom about chil tickets:

We always bought the family bus ticket when our son was a baby too, it was a cheaper for us to buy a family ticket that covers two adults and two children rather then two adult returns and a free baby - so to speak."There is no substitute for time."
