- Be debt free by 2010
- never get into debt again, always pay cash
- Make sure my daughter is happy and i can always afford to give her what she wants/deserves
- Home Improvements
- Be able to afford to have a nice wedding abroad, no help from either family, and pay for both mothers to come
- Pay off an extra £1k per month off the mortgage, the quicker it is paid off the quicker we are totally debt free, plus will be hell of a lot cheaper, think of all the interest

ok - been thinking about this a lot recently and I'm sure it'll continually be revised as things change and time passes... but here we are as of today!
Short term and ongoing:
Lose the rest of the weight I need to - 8 1/2 stone gone - 4 1/2 to go!! :j :T
Keep working at being debt free
Start fertility treatment - hopefully end up with 4 children but hey 1 would be amazing!
Stay as healthy as possible
Keep working on my marriage - just got back together after being separated for a year :T
Be happy!
Longer term:
More training to lead to better income - not sure in what yet - maybe do my Counselling Diploma
Getting debt free
Buying our own house
Start own business
Have enough money so we don't have to worry about it all the time
Raise a happy healthy family
Have a happy healthy marriage
Move to Cornwall
Have some chickens, grow my own veggies and generally become a bit more self sufficient
Think that's it!!0 -

Oooh, I want to join this post too...
My life plans are;
1 Save enough in the next 12 months to buy a property in cash on the Red Sea, Egypt.
2 Pay off all my debt between now and the end of 2008.
3 Give up work and move to Egypt!
4 Spend most days in the sun, on the beach, lounging about in tea houses during the evening and generally enjoying my freedom.
5 Work for 3 months each year in the UK and use that money to travel the world.
6 Oh, and the usual...meet the love of my life, lose weight, look good naked, etc, etc...

I like this plan, how much is a property on the Red Sea?“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0 -

What a cool thread. I can't even get to 5 years let alone a whole life plan!
1. Finish part time MA at end of August
2. HAVE FUN after such hard work!!!!!!!!
3. Start new full time job with current employer - negotiate massive pay rise
4. Start paying off Student Loan
5. Start saving with OH - save £10,000 between us by end 2008
6. Spanish lessons
7. Start planning year away in Barcelona 2009
yippeeee!
It's so lovely to hear everyone's plans. That one about the Red Sea sounded good - can I come too?:A :heartpuls June 2014 / £2014 in 2014 / £735.97 / 36.5%0 -

I have several things "on the go" that I'm working towards which will hopefully lead to a bright future.
But I'm wary of putting the pressure of "lifetime goals" on myself. The best laid plans and all that. Far better to live in the NOW and accept what life gives you and then work with it or around it.
That's a typical cat philosophy! What if the hokey cokey is what it's all about? :eek:Official "Bring back Mark and Lard NOW! or else (please)" Member 160
