I'm not sure - think I need to have a plan in place and perhaps this will impact on brining more calm to my life!
Thinags I do want to do though in the next five years are:
Clear debt (not inc mortgage)
Ensure children are happy and healthy
Ermmmm....
I did have lots, but recently been forced to rethink! Will have to think this out as i do think it's important to have some ideas and plans for motivation .

Indeed they do !!! :j :j :j :j :j
I would like to do a little bit of good in this world before I pop my cloggs....so when I am old and look back I can think I led a good life i.e doing my best and not hurting others and did something I can be proud to say made the world or the life of some one better in some way, however small.
(plus I want to get the mortgage paid of ASAP;) )0 -

- Save as much money as possible to pay for wedding and clear some debt.
- Get Married April 2008
- Keep saving like mad to pay off some more if not all debt so we can start trying for a baby and I can leave the stress of London and be a full time mum.
- Have a baby before I'm 30.

I didn't used to have a life plan ... but over the last few months, as I've been feeling better, it has developed:
1. Become debt free
2. Pack up bags, with OH, and move to another country where life is simpler (yes, we are really planning this)
3. Live a "quiet life" in our new country
4. Possibly have a couple of children (hence why "quiet" is in quotes!)Pennies make pounds.

Good thread!! Difficult to know what to put but here goes:
1. Get a place on a Midwifery degree and complete it.
2. Get a job I enjoy.
3. Be financially stable.
4. Meet a partner and have children.
Not too much to ask?!

I would like the folowing
- Be debt free by 2010 (not inc the mortgage)
- never get into debt again, always pay cash
- Make sure my daughter is happy and i can always afford to give her what she wants/deserves
- Home Improvements (adds value to the property)
- Be able to afford to have a nice wedding abroad, no help from either family, and pay for both mothers to come
- Pay off an extra £1k per month off the mortgage, the quicker it is paid off the quicker we are totally debt free, plus will be hell of a lot cheaper, think of all the interest (only once other debt's is paid off)
- To be able to go out when either me or my partner wants to, and even afford to take our daughter out for the day, without having to save up for months
- To lose weight, and be the size i was when i first met my partner (so much cheaper to eat rubbish frozen ready cooked meals or nothing, def contributed to me putting on the weight)
I dont ask for much, honest.
I know money dont make you happy but it definatly makes you happier than constantly being in the red

I've just had to have a major rethink on this so its still a work in progress but right now it is.
- Make final payment off non-mortgage debt on June payday.
- Build up my contingency fund to equal 3 months current salary by the end of the year.
- Pay the remainder of my current mortgage off by the end of 2010.
- Buy a bigger house in a nicer area & rent out current home as a second income stream.

Great idea for a thread! Mine is a bit up in the air at the moment, but generally the plans I have are:
1. Survive birth of DD in May (after 30 minute labour and with no stitches
)
2. Repay credit card as soon as possible and car loan by October 2008
3. Find somewhere to put the new baby - ie, buy bigger house or extend existing house
4. Buy a caravan or folding camper so we can have cheap holidays and maybe even go away during the school holidays
That's it at the moment - I'd also like to pay off my mortgage and retire early, but can't think that far ahead yet!
