the only "hoover" i have ever had that i have to turn the power down because it can lift the carpet
only downside is i have accidently sucked things up the pipe i thought where far enough away, the turbo head is fantatstic, and argos sell the bags!

I have a Henry (well a Hetty actually), and whilst it picks up well enough, it's hard work, and I hate lugging it up and down the stairs.

I have one and find it very useful, as it is very light and I have back problems. However, it has no hose , so does not go right into corners and does need the brush clearing often , if you have a long haired pet. Also, it doesn't beat, so I use my regular Hoover now and then, to really get dust out of the carpet.
