Do both parents employers offer childcare vouchers? If they do you can both salary sacrifice upto £55 a week.

Yes both parent’s employers’ offer the voucher scheme, in fact my wife works for busy bees childcare vouchers. I didn’t realise that both parents can use the voucher scheme at the same time for the same child. We both get paid monthly, so does this mean that we can get £110 savings (£55 on my monthly salary and £55 on my wife’s) by not paying tax or national insurance under the childcare voucher scheme?

yes both parents can salary sacrifice. With your OH working for busybees I'm sure they'll be able to tell her how much you'll save in 'real terms' by using the vouchers.
