Sadly NHS care for first tri pregnancies is appalling
Take comfort in your LO and let it be known, we are all thinking of you.
I think the idea of a memory stick with photos and video messages from friends and family is fantastic. It will be the next best thing to having you all there and I am sure it will mean an awful lot to him. For the CD/USB stick cover you could do some cute 'Subway' art that is tailored to your marriage and family
More Crafty shares for you all. Please tell me if I'm going over-board with photo's, I do get a bit snap happy[/COLOR]2024 Challenges

Determined to hadve a great Christmas last year was a wash out Dh nana passed away a few days before Christmas last year (she was 96) and then everyone got ill so was disaster.
Anyway just commenting on the list from children asked ds what he wanted from santa his reply "a yellow mini car (we are talking matchbox cars here not a sit on pedal ride one!) and some chocolate that's it! easily pleased.
My heart goes out to you my love. I've never had a mc myself but a friend has just text me today with the exact same news. Made me burst out crying especially as today is World Prematurity Day which gets me every year (see sig). Look after yourself won't you. Never feel you can't share, online friends are invaluable xxx
Well, still just have the one item to collect from tesco for dd2 after they sent the wrong thing. Have to say, Tesco facebook were fabulous and after complaining Thursday night to them and giving my details the new item is already there to exchange! Just hope its correct!
So then just Secret Santa to go! Its all gettinga bit close now eh???

Hi all, what a lovely thread. I've read as many pages as I can so sorry if this has been asked recently. I'm going to make, in 250ml bottles, Werther's, Rhubarb and Custard, Pineapple chunk and Fox's Glacier mint vodka. How many sweets would people suggest putting in each one? Thanks.0

Hello all,
Been lurking for a while now, and thought I'd see if any of you have some inspiration for me. My bf is off in Afghan this christmas which obviously limits xmas presents! I've got him a shoebox full of things that will hopefully make him smile, but i want to get him something a bit more *nice* if you know what I mean?
It needs to be able to fit into a shoebox, last for longer than a month (although I've mainly got him sweets etc anyway, because they have limited storage and can't bring much back!) and not be too massive. I was toying with the idea of sending him out some photos or something on a memory stick, but that doesn't seem like I've put much effort into it!
He's into computer games etc so maybe I could find something to do with that?
Thanks in advance!
I think the photos on a memory stick sounds like a fab idea, my dh works away a lot & last year i made him a pocket scrapbook, which travels anywhere he goes! It's not about getting what you want, It's about wanting what you get.0 -
Possession thanks
It woulnt be so bad but my second scan showed it had grown (even after they told me first was a missed miscarrige) but still not big enough to see heartbeat so scheduled for a 3rd scan this tues. Said but if you miscarry naturally just get in touch.
So I did they said well not much we cn do (I wasnt sure I definitely had as I didnt have time to collect" it) then told e if I was really worried go to a&e who would refer me up to them! as they didnt have any appointments for me to be seen and on Drs referral I would be seen (complete madness)
SO I spent 3 hours in a&e an the lovely dr who saw me said he was unabl to get them to take my referral even after wat they had told me to do anhe thought it a disgrace and said hewould make formal complaint as it wasted my time as well as his.
And he said my blood press uer was v low and I am quiet anaemic abd he said it wont help trapsing out to a&e when I shoudl have my feet up
Sorry rant over complete mess
YEt when I mis- micarried first time round they were fantastic got it confimed I was in hospital 1 day later having a d&c. I wonder if its becaue its my 3rd pregnancy and they see it as been there before??
Sorry rant over. I will be back on with positive Christmas vibe soon:)0 -
