Today I am off to buy our stockings.
Do you wrap the things you put in the stockings or just put them straight in?
Every year we agree NOT to wrap our stocking pressies and every year Hubby DOES  Think I will this yearpopularfurball wrote: »Went to lidl yesterday only one coffee pod holder left and it was the wrong kind - ah well!

Straight in. Wrapping wastes paper and space :money:Gettingtherequickly wrote: »Got the only Chrstmas tree mould left in Poundland last night, actually supposed to be ice cubes, but hey, can make chocolate trees. Think I will "decorate" them, any suggestions on what I can use? I have small smarties cake decorations, but think they may be just a little bit too big
Edible glitter? Take sugar and place it in a jar (about 1/2 a cup, I think). Add food colouring drop by drop till you get the colour you want, I think about 10 drops is the maximum wetness-wise. Shake it up vigorously. Add a couple of grains of rice to soak up moisture or spread it in a thin layer on a plate and microwave it at ten second intervals till it's dry.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

was trying to work out how to get to mr T this morning before I had to work, as have car issue and it's going into garage tomorrow - lucky for me hubby said he had to go that way first thing, so he popped me up there. Last time they did B1G2F on selection boxes last year it was stripped bare first thing, this time I think they have learned their lesson! there were huge pallets of them all over the store, literally hundreds on each pallet!
Its max 18 per customer, I got 9, as my DS gives them to friends for Christmas at school, I get them for neighbours children plus a couple to give to school fair for raffle prizes and tombola, which I couldnt have done if Id had to pay full priceI also have 2 to use for chocolate for my candy cane sleighs
There were quite a few people buying 15 and 12 (3 schools by our mr T so people coming in after dropping children).
I checked the other selection boxes, as you may remember last year they added the big Cadbury stockings which they reduced from £4 to £3 and put on B1G2F, that kept our family in chocolate bars until February! but his year it is just the one medium Cadbury one in the offer, in case people wondered like me!
Also have packs of penguins on B1G2f, so got those to put in the January store cupboard. Hubby reminded me he loves those and so do the kids, so I caved!
Got Pandoro there reduced yesterday (back up to full price today) so Im done!Just the party food, turkey, stuffing, more mince pies, dips, ham etc - which I have been saving M&S vouchers for, so am very chuffed!

I'm glad you got your selection boxes today snugglebunny! :T
I don't need any more for anyone but i'm tempted to get them as the offer is so good! Although I don't know when i'll next get to a Tesco so probably won't. Just as well really, i'm falling into the danger zone now of nearly being finished with presents but keep adding things to the box!0 -
Oh and well done on being finished, i'm looking forward to that day (hopefully before the end of Nov) so that I can just put my feet up, relax and enjoy Christmas! I've already put a couple of local events on my calendar in December including a Christmas market, carols by candlelight and late night shopping where they close the high street to cars, have lots of stalls as well as a procession led by Santa and the Christmas lights being switched on! Can't wait!0
