Is that wha Amazon do, put up costs if there have been a lot of views? Never heard of this before!

not sure if it's views or purchases, but sometimes their prices can go up and down within minutes, tho your doesnt change once youve bought it, but I remember there was a big run on Andrex 48 rolls for £10, loads of people bought it and then the price shot up to £25+ very quickly, so maybe it's supply? not too sure but would imagine it's supply and demand, otherwise known and Cash In While You Can!

I bought the Bond DVD boxset in January for DS Christmas, paid I think £45 for it. Following day I put another in my basket to watch it for another family gift, as the price had gone up to 68, since then it's been up ad ddown daily, every time I go on and check my basket it's notified as change of price - was £83 the other day! :) so may be supplier or Id think more likely number of sales, maybe somebody else know? x

ah, thanks Possession, thought somebody would know how they do it! so no point me keep looking at it to see if it's gone down, cos technically that will push it up!

I've just taken advantage (excuse the pun!) of the Boots £6 for 1200 points deal, I got the offer through on a Moneysupermarket email if you wanted to look it up. Sorry I can't post a link as i'm too new! :(

I'm thinking of buying some Christmas dvd's with the voucher!Such a great deal, £6 to spend on dvds/presents and £12 advantage points to spend at Christmas/in the sale.

Today i've had a charity Christmas cards catalogue come through at work and an email about Winter Wonderland at Hyde Park, so Christmas is definitely sneaking in! I enjoyed looking at all the Christmassy pictures in the card catalogue, might keep it on my desk and flick through it every time I need a Christmas hit! :)

Edit 19/07 - Oops just realised I read the voucher wrong, though ti was too good to be true! That'll teach me!

Kayandy, I'm not really into Chicklit but I read a book called The Xmas Factor (by Annie Sanders) and I enjoyed it so much that I have it on my Audible wish list, to listen to when I make my Christmas cake and all the other prep! It would also be great as a Christmas Eve movie, if ever the powers that be decide to make it!

I like old Jilly Cooper (Rivals/Riders/Polo) there is some wonderful Christmas writing in those, also Twelve Days of Christmas by Trisha Ashley is really good, read it several times, not a fan of hers generally but that's one I would highly recommend :)

I think it is Polo and Appassionata the books where there is a lot of lovely Christmas Eve/Christmas day stuff, I will have a look and let you know :) 12 Days is wonderful, was disappointed in Christmas Magic as it turned out to be one of her older books repackaged and presumably released last Christmas on the back of the success of 12 Days, was a shame as it was mostly set in summer with about half a page of Christmas!
