We brought this house when I was 21 and I had to have a pink kitchen, I have pink tiles on the walls, a pink bit on the floor by the back door and a pink OVEN! It's lovely, I don't have all pink accessories anymore because as time has gone on and they have broken I have just replaced them with the cheapest (so are white!) but used to have pink kettle etcmsgigglewick wrote: »Not a fabulous photo as it was late last night lol but here you go,
This is gorgeous!
Having watched santa & pete yesterday you could call this one Vixen as apparently she was the first reindeerlol
My hubby came in yesterday saying that someone in the street had Christmas lights up, but then when he came back from walking the dogs he said they were all halloween decorations. Im quite surprised, they aren't newbies and we never ever get trick or treaters and even last year hardly anyone had christmas lights up. I am hoping this will mean more people will put christmas lights up in the estate this year, it was very sad looking last year.
I need to find a 4ft Christmas tree as with all the baby stuff I have nowhere to put the tree except our bay window but our tree is too big to fit. However, I want a Green one and it has to be as cheap as possible - any suggestions anyone?Everything is always better after a cup of tea0 -

Thanks what a bargain !!!!0 -
I'm a bit of a lurker on here and read way more than I post. I'd just like to say a big Thank you to everyone who takes the time to post as I have picked up loads of wonderful ideas from everyone. This will be the third year we have done the christmas elf and my kids love it nearly as much as me!!
This morning I made a magazine xmas tree and wanted to share a pic of it as I am not remotely 'crafty' but I think it looks quite effective.0 -

If i had more time i wanted todo some bits for the garland i have on the stairs but got a feeling that will have to wait until next year now. We'll see.
Been looking into making a sleigh to go with the reindeer, just got to work out how to keep it standing tall.. cardboard maybe.
Not sure if you would be interested in buying a sleigh? TK M@X have wooden ones with metal scroll runners - very pretty and big enough to put some small gifts in the sleigh x0 -

I've actually already got a glass sleigh which comes out every year, but dd3 thinks rudolph needs a matching one,, i've decided i need some plastic canvas which i can sew panels of knitting too and cut to shape, that way it should stay upright.. Got a picture in my mind just have to put it into practise if i can find the canvas in town. Ty anywayTotally debt free wohooo 2014

Bought some battery lights in poundl@and and also a pink princess mirror, yes, for myself.
Got some nice cards in the c@rd f@ctory , so nice not having the hustle and bustle of Christmas queues. Home to my Vivienne Westwood bag waiting from the postman, so a cheery up day all round.0
