Love your tree. Just checked out a tutorial and they're ridiculously easy to make. Good one to try with the kids. Thank you for the picture. Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.

It's lovely, I don't have all pink accessories anymore because as time has gone on and they have broken I have just replaced them with the cheapest (so are white!) but used to have pink kettle etc
This is gorgeous!
Having watched santa & pete yesterday you could call this one Vixen as apparently she was the first reindeerlol
My hubby came in yesterday saying that someone in the street had Christmas lights up, but then when he came back from walking the dogs he said they were all halloween decorations. Im quite surprised, they aren't newbies and we never ever get trick or treaters and even last year hardly anyone had christmas lights up. I am hoping this will mean more people will put christmas lights up in the estate this year, it was very sad looking last year.
I need to find a 4ft Christmas tree as with all the baby stuff I have nowhere to put the tree except our bay window but our tree is too big to fit. However, I want a Green one and it has to be as cheap as possible - any suggestions anyone?
I have Kitchen Envy!:rotfl:
I noticed Tesc0 Direct have some nice low cost tree of all sizes, may be worth a look? my 2.5ft fibre optic colour change one is awesome at £14.95, literally under half of what a lot of places charge, so may be worth checking - Nex! and M&$ have them but I think although they are really nice they are much too expensive, I'd recommend checking Tesco0 -
welcome niccinotts ! I love the tree, its very pretty! xx0

msgigglewick - your knitted reindeer is super cute! I LOVE it!
afeitar - your crochet decs sound gorgeous too.
I'm very envious of anyone who can crochet/knit. I've tried to teach myself numerous times, via youtube tutorials etc, but I think I need someone to actually sit with me and show me what to do as I get all in a muddle!0 -
Similar to the Baileys, Sains are doing 1l of Tia Maria for £12. Also a good buy for a Christmas present.0

The 12 issues of the Radio Times for £1 offer is back on for 48 hrs only
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4251187
Edited to add: All 12 issues for £1, including the Xmas issue
Thanks for this, just ordered it for our house & my parents....can't wait for the Christmas issue :T:T0 -
Thanks Money maker and Snugglebuggy. It was very easy to make or I wouldnt have managed it. It does get a bit repetitive folding all the pages though!
Just signed up for the Radio Times deal, it's a great bargain. The only time I ever buy it is at Christmas. :xmastree:0 -
I still haven't decided on my wrapping paper. I love the one I previously posted from M&S [the kraft paper style with robins] but it was definitely not MSE. It worked out at £1.16 per metre, which seems really high. Especially as we are selling around 4 metres per pound at work.0

Nice, dry day today so I said to DD "I'll mow the front lawn and clip the hedge as it'll probably be last chance I get before winter sets in".
BUT
then I couldn't sum up the energy to get the lawnmower out of the shed so.....
started wrapping presents instead!!:snow_laug
They are looking good :xmassmile
BUT
then I got a bit worried and thought...."If I wrap them all now, I'll run out and then I'll have nothing to make me feel Christmassy"
SO
I've stopped.
BUT
I really, really want to carry on!! :xmassmile:xmassmile:xmassmileStopped smoking 20th October 2012
This year I will have something that resembles a garden and not a building site!0 -
I have wrapped all but one gift and feel very Christmassy indeed
I saved the last one on purpose so I can make it extra super bonus Christmassy in December - would that help Archiebear?Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76
