Oh and for anyone doing the chocolate hampers, mainly for whoever's doing the non-edible chocolate hamper, Berol used to do scented pens, there was chocolate, strawberry and lemon, I did have a quick look on eB*y but there didn't seem to be any but if you have any stationery shops nearby it's worth a lookAll horses deserve, at least once in their lives, to be loved by a little girl.

When I had sky they were always free ones and after I cancelled I could still watch film 24 and the other few that are similar.
Hope so but my dad cancelled sky a couple of months ago and he can't get 327 or 328 (movies 24).

ok, so we go away tomorrow & i really should be ironing & finishing the packing, but of course i had to check in with my fellow xmasssers first, and as aresult i have spent the last 90 mins catching up on weekend posts and browsing m&s & other recommended websites!
I really have to shut my laptop down though as hubby has threatened to tell santa ive been a naughty girl if i dont help him get ready for the morning (bah humbug!).
Quick best wishes to carlamarie, keep resting hun, i had similar all the way through my 2nd pregnancy, always "just one of those things" and dd was born at 38 weeks, perfectly healthy & very large!!

also wondering where chirpychick has got to? hopefully levan has made his arrival.
aww on my own, a little robbie the reindeer! how cute!
huge hugs to everyone that needs one!
ive had a bit of a bad few days. i spent the day in hospital yesterday as i had a bad bleed. i am 17weeks pregnant and after listening to babys heartbeat and having an internal examination i have been told everything is ok with baby :T and its just one of those unexplainable things. i am still bleeding now (not as much) and although i have had the reasurrance by doctor and the midwifes and i have no pain, i am still understandably, really worried! i have slept for most of the day (feeling so drained)
but reading the 10 pages of this thread that i have fallen behind on has taken my mind off my worries and transfered all thoughts onto sparkly, tinselly things instead :T:T:T
on thursday i went for a browse around town and managed to get dd's some sleeping beauty pjs from argos (i think they were a 1/3 off, at £7.99) picked up one of the mini gingerbread house tins from M+S (half price £5) both for the the xmas eve hampers (the biscuits to share)
also picked up fashion wheel reduced to £5 in the entertainer for dd. dh asked if it was for myself or dd. i'll be honest, its debatable:o they really need to worry when shes old enough that i can buy 'her' dreamphone:D
i also traded in all my mil's nintendo ds games in (she tells me to throw them if i dont want them  but i trade them and then every few months buy her a new release).
i got £26 in store credit on a 'happy birthday' gift card. i will top this up, hopefully next week with another £14 and gift it to my eldest nephew for both his birthday on the 1st dec and christmas.
also hoping to buy some spray paint and spray varnish this week to 'recycle' my old tablemats and coasters into some new shiny ones with reindeers on (BEST christmas ever, making special mag page 61, but mine will be gold and purple to match my decs) very excited how these will turn out!
Wishing you well carlamarie it must be such a worrying time for you. hope this site helps a little to take your mind off things . Take it easy and rest as much as you can xx

Sounds like quite a few of you are going through a tough time at the moment but it's lovely to see how supportive everyone is around here (on this thread). Sincerest best wishes to everyone x
About the trees being cut down...Seeing that anywhere makes me feel sad, even without the sentimental attachment, so I can imagine how you feel about the trees your family planted. Sorry can't remember who posted about it but I completely understand where you're coming from. Hopefully your neighbours turn out to be lovely, you never know.
Has anyone seen any nice toadstool decs? I've seen a few felt ones but am looking for red & white glass ones preferably. Absolutely love these ones from Cargo but don't love the price so much and am hoping to spot a cheaper alternative:

It's very addictive isn't it. I was meant to be getting up this morning and doing laundry and ironing
I just feel much brighter after a quick look on here and it's so positive and cheery . :snow_grin

I know - wait till Halloween is out the way then it will be all systems go!:T
Just did a long post on how I don't like Halloween in this country. But how I loved it in America, Spain and Portugal, then I lost it
Anyway I have found a link for homemade Chocolate Lip Gloss.
It is soooo easy -

I have decided to make 6 Chocolate Hampers next year
Don't know if I  6 Chocolate Hampers or  Next Year.:rotfl:
I am nearly done this year and am feeling a little lost. I do like to hunt out bargains. If I get next years list done now, I have a whole 12 months to scavenge all those 341,342, bogof and sale items.:j0 -

Do you have enough willpower to stop buying presents for this year when you've covered everyone? I definitely don't! No matter how much I've bought I'll still keep picking up bits along the way when I see things which I think are nicer/better than what I've already got or things which will go well with what I've already got. Can't help myself!0 -

Hi that was me. Thank you it did upset me especially when they just burnt the wood it seemed just a pointless thing . They have bought more land to the left of them and looks like the will be opening out into the field next to them too. Looks like a building site at the mo
Electric gates is the next thing they are doing with remote controls . The silly thing is the cottages are tiny so the new shed they are putting up will probably look bigger then the cottage
I am trying not to judge we did pop out yesterday to say hello but they weren't very friendly to be honest only time will tell :think:0 -
