Just on the off chance, does anyone happen to know what this film is called? There was a woman, I think she was a TV chef (American) and the channel wanted her to film a family Christmas, but she had no family. So they organised some actors (?) to pretend to be her husband and kids etc...
I can't remember if it was any good, but I really fancy watching it again, and I'm driving my family mad by continually asking them if they know what the film is called! Thanks xx

Judging from the synopsis on the site, I think that one might be on this Saturday (if you have True Movies).
It's called Christmas in Connecticut. On at 7pm.

Could be the wrong film though! Just sounded a bit similar.:rudolf: :rudolf: :rudolf: :rudolf: :rudolf:0 -

Took an hours leave yesterday to go fetch it, only to be told it wasnt there and id have to go to the "other" sorting office, 15 miles in opposite direction grrr. Knew i was expecting another parcel so spoke with my neighbour who i know is home all day, and we agreed i would leave a note on my door which clearly asked for any parcels to be left with this neighbour. Got home today to another card telling me to collect from sorting office again! Note was still visably taped to door at eye level, and my neighbour said she has been in all day, saw postman come but didnt see he had a parcel otherwise she would of gone out. So thats more time off work, and more petrol to fetch another parcel cos bloody royal mail are to lazy to walk 10 yards to neighbours, or cant read! I reakon i could have brought most of my stocking fillers with the money they have wasted me in last 3 days! Sorry, rant over, going to relax with a christmas mag now....(breaths) :rudolf:
...yet we have the 'opt-out' sticker from RM stuck on the window about an inch above the letter box and RM still insist on leaving parcels with the neighbour!!
And until we had the sticker they happily returned stuff to the collection office.
I don't get it!!!!Wealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -

went today
After Eights are half price - £1.50,
Ferrero Rocher down to £3
Festive Friends - £1
Betty Crocker choc fudge frosting (and others too but I know people after this one and its awesome!) is reduced, £1.42 a tub, but it goes fast!
they also have a new Christmas paperback, Once Upon A Christmas at £3.490 -
that is SO annoying when you have to travel for parcels and somebody was in or next door that they could have left it with! they don't seem to realise how much it costs in time and petrol! we are so lucky that I work at home and fair few neighbours are always in in the event Im not so we take in for each other, but know how annoying it is!
Christmas In Connectiut sounds intriguing, am going to have to set the Sky+ for that0 -
BunBun welcome! I'm doing small ones but I love the idea of a big sleigh with large bars and big candy canes! I like the idea of getting a small red velvet drawstring bag to put sweets/small gifts in to put on the sleigh like Santa's sack
msgigglewick I love the elf passport, you are very talented!0
