For the cola candy canes I'm sure I saw some in asda they had mint strawberry and fizzy strawberry and cola the cola ones are slightly shorter than normal and were in packs of 20 for £2 I think. X
I am thinking asda will be the best place to go for them. Fizzy strawberry sounds yummy.“I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best.”

They've got peppermint or cherry candy canes in the 99p store, fizzy fruit flavour ones in Asda and in BHS they had orange tango ones, these were £3 a box, they could possibly have others too but everything in BHS is full price at the mo but give it a couple of weeks and like every year they'll be reducing it all!~ What's for you, won't go past you! ~0

Evening fellow Xmas lovers.
Nothing to Christmassy today for me but I did pick up a bag of snowman mallows from Tesco on my way home. Each time I've been so far they are OOS.
Had a wander round their clothing section. They have some nice christmas pjs for ladies... Lovely red fleecy snowflake bottoms £6/7
Done my usual sweep of the grabbit forum this evening and I do have to echo what people have said on here about friendliness, support, empathy etc you won't find it on other threads. We need to inject a bit of Xmas spirit!!
There is a post about £5 voucher from Argos if you donate a bag of unwanted toys in support of Barnardos. Yes you might be able to sell them on eBay but this is about charity folks and you get £5 off your next toy purchase of £35 or more. Just reading the comments so far on that thread and none of the above words used to describe this thread apply.0 -
On the thread about the ugly christmas jumpers there's a link to pictures of some and in one of the pics a guy is holding a plastic candy/walking stick tube of sweets. I remember having one of those as a kid. Would love to be able to find them again.
I've had to catch up with about 40 pages tonight, so nice to hear about all the new babies...
Been busy making lots of felt xmas decorations for a stall I'm doing in November so not had time to catch up here much but I'm planning a trip to Mr T tommorow to get some snowman marshmallows.
Saw an ad on local FB selling page for some artificial trees, person was selling 5 of them so I'm now the owner of a black 6ft and a green 5ft, both for a fiver so I'm pretty pleased with that, normally have a real tree but this year I'm going to fake it.0 -

Sugarspun and Nic I am so sorry for your lose.
Sugarspun - Children are a lot more resilient than we give them credit for. My ds has my Mums maiden name, and the first 3 funerals he went to were for people with his name. I told him his name was special, and would remind everyone of the people we had lost.
Twinkle Good Luck and Congratulations for tomorrow.
MaggieMcQ You picked the best thread on MSE for your first post.
chunkymonkey2144 Well done in finishing
ellie9ellie Oh hope it doesn't hurt too much. take some time out and try to enjoy it.
Well you won't believe this.
My step-sister phoned me today while she was at my Dads. In the conversation she mentions wanting to try my Blackjack Vodka, as she may want to make some for her partners mate.
Then in the background my Dad says' OH Blackjack Vodka, I'll try some of that, I like Blackjacks '
I told my sister what he said yesterday, and she told him to 'S0D Off ! He wasn't having any':rotfl:
Got my edible glitter today for my chocolate slabs.
For anyone who wants to make them, simply melt a couple of bars of chocolate and pour into a silicone loaf tin. You can add anything you like to them. You can also pipe messages on the top.
For a couple of pounds you have a slab that looks like it cost a fortune :j
Will make one at the weekend and take some pics.
Looking forward to the pics!! Never heard of that before but worth a go 👍😃Every sixty seconds you spend angry, upset or mad, is a full minute of happiness you'll never get back..:p
