Do you know what I *really* want? A nice winter cardigan. Something nordic/fair isle looking, it can be either pinks/greys or reds/whites. It'd be even better if it had 'subtle' reindeer in the pattern. I'm thinking something like this http://www.mcgregor-fashion.com/women-cardigan-bedford-fair-isle-red.html but far more MSE than this one. Help?!
Oh and not in wool - it must be washing machine friendly - I had one from Fat Face a while ago but it shrunk in the first wash (despite it saying it was safe to wash!)
Don't know if this is any help or whether it's been posted yet (still on pg288!)

They have a few fairisle style cardis0 -
They were in the seasonal aisle, I found them with the bags of coins, lollies, lindt bears etc. They are called Christmas Mini Mallows 90g for 50p. Hope this helps.
Thanks, I had been avoiding that part after I bought our stuff already, as things have a tendency to jump in the trolley just wanting to come home with us from that aisle13 projects in 2013 0/130 -

:eek:NOOOOO! DH has just cancelled Sky (well, they'd upped the monthly charge again to way over £80!) I wonder if the Sky box will still work and show me the free channels? Anyone know?
ETA: sugarspun so sorry for your loss xxx is there anyway you could go to the funeral and maybe they went out for the day/afternoon to the park (weather permitting) so your DD won't have to go to the funeral if you're worried about her getting upset?0 -
Morning everyone,
Gone a bit quiet at work so I've cracked my notebook out, where I have all my Christmas lists.
Really pleased with my Mum's presents most are either Cath Kidston or Radley and all of them have been bought from outlets so were all 50% off or less, it looks by far more than I paid for them
Struggling a bit with my Brother but thinking a nice coat would be a good idea.
Next year I've decided to make everything. I think with everything thats happened I've used shopping as a bit of relief, pleasure and used it to take my mind off everything. I'm not normally this organised :0
Next year I'll do flavoured vodka's will do a test run once we've moved (I've saved to massive cider bottles to try it out in) some truffles, fudge, shortbread, chutney, jam, marmalade, coconut ice, peppermint creams, choc slabs, mini Christmas cakes, felt decorations, kindle/ipad covers, reusable bags, knit some scarfs
jewellery and lavender bags.
Had a quick look yesterday in Primark but I'm still not that impressed with the Christmassy pj's, I did see some nice tartan pj bottoms. Tartan always reminds me of Christmas
They did have quite a few Christmas socks and ties. Got some knee high lovely soft socks, with red and white stripes and rudolphs head on the end - £2.50
Wilko had some nice plastic sacks on with little characters on for £1 thought they would ne handy for transporting presents to family etc.
Just been looking at christmas on M&S, last year we bought a fancy cake from there as our contribution to Christmas at my Aunts. It was £15 but everyone loved it so money well spent and it looked amazing.
Quite like the macaroon tree this year
I was listening to Michael Buble's Christmas album this morning and eating Christmas cake0 -
Well I am going to de-lurk. I have been looking on here for a while and I am amazed at how prepared you all are. Thanks to whoever it was who mentioned the Rudolf scene it game, I managed to pick one up. Can't wait to have a go!
My brother and sisters present are all but sorted. My parents are much more tricky.“I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best.”

Sorry to hear about your Aunt Sugarspun. X I lost my Papa on Saturday night, so we are travelling down for his funeral on Friday.
I was having a look at the Rudolph game. Do you definently need to of seen another DVD or is the game DVD included enough? My oh was arguing with me as I said you need to of seen the film, but he said everything is included. We ended up not getting it at all.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0
