  • Hello ladies! (and gentlemen!)

Have been lurking here a looooong time, have read from page 1 and feel like I know you all! :p

You've helped me so much this year with my xmas pressies, I'm doing hampers, snowman soup and pots of gold-all so personal and gifts I would love to receive myself.

Anyway I de-lurked to ask if any of you had seen any nice baskets for hampers anywhere? I'm really struggling, have a B&Ms, Home Bargains, Wilkinsons and Boyes all pretty much within 5 minutes drive and haven't managed to find any :(

Any help would be much appreciated.

Oh oh! Also, I need some gold foil/paper to put in the bottom of my pots of gold and cant find any of that either x

Home Bargains have boxes lined with christmassy material
  • I just saw a christmassy advert, it was only DFS but there was a christmas tree and christmas music.

    Yay so exciting.

    :xmastree:

Yay, I just saw it too! Very Christmassy. :xmastree:

  • oh that sounds awful :( would it help if i told you that i have now started on the orange creams and now feel a little off colour _pale_
serves me right ! hope the training is nearly finished

not till tomorrow... haahaaa shoulda sent them here - orange and strawberry chocs are the best :p:p
loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:
  • About a month ago when I looked at the Christmas stuff on Poundland's website there were pages and pages of things (most of it things I wanted!) but ever since then they've only had a few things up on the Christmas page.

Very annoying. Why would they suddenly not show the whole range on the website?

Oh vintage they were such lovely words:) an strangely the green triangles from quality street used to be one of the ones left in the almost empty tin in our house!
My guess is 1320 own my own - I hope you are keeping score:)
Everybody seems to be getting bargains galore today, feeling a trip to home bargains better wait til next week, big bills this week:(
I'd love to be wrapping I'm so nearly there with my shopping but think storage wise I'd better wait a little longer. I'm gonna have a wrapping day I hope, mince pies, chocolate, Christmas music and films bliss. So often in the past I've left the wrapping to the last minute and quickly done it sat on the bedroom floor rushing about. Not this year :) xxx

Tab1967 Oscar is adorable. Hope that means you are feeling better now and have had lots and lots of cuddles.
Own My Own I'm afraid he'd get just humbugs from me and I'd possible resist the temptation to throw them at him!!!
Have you seen the Bah Humbug carton somebody has made on the Christmas crafts thread? Or better still "Jar of Nothing" http://www.craftbits.com/project/a-jar-of-nothing-gift
