Ownmyown im sorry to hear your dads reaction, I would have been upset too *hugs*
Love the bah humbugs hamper idea lol, some people just don't think do they, my folks are the same!!

Just realised I've almost finished dd3s gifts, just to get another 2 sets for her doll house, jammies and stocking :-) Can't wait to see her face Xmas morning (well all of their faces obviously lol) but she has had such a hard time with illnesses and things lately and she understands a bit more about Xmas this year so im excited to see her reaction, hopefully she'll not be on hospital though she's to get a couple of mri's within the next few weeks and possible surgery on her stomach so I'm a nervous wreck as you can imagine. I have postponed my own surgery as I just can't cope with it all!

Wow, that post turned into a rant of its own, sorry :-(

Christmas Eve is 10 weeks today.:snow_laug

If we have managed 145 pages in just over 3 weeks , I reckon we will be nearer 1300 . (maybe even 1500) :rotfl::rotfl:

Edit 2 - thats a stupid amount. We would need to be posting 24 hours a day. I'm changing to 1227.

Most of the supermarkets have nice mugs, as does The Card Factory.
The Pound Shop and the 99p Store also have some.

I was just about to be cross at my boyfriend for saying he's gone and ordered Virgin media to be installed next week (grrr whats wrong with freeview?!) then I read this!

Now I am so excited! I've been so disappointed that there aren't christmas films on love film but this makes up to it!

Glad you are feeling better now it is hard when so much thought and effort go in to pressies and hampers i mentioned something to my dad the other day about christmas planning and he said " how sad ! " kind of hurts to get these comments but i think we are like minded on his forum not just because we all love christmas so much but more because we all are planning it all because we all take the time to care about others and what will make them happy and its rare when anyone mentions much about what they will be receiving themselves at christmas . just proves what a lovely caring bunch we are and if that makes me sad in some peoples eyes i dont really care so there !!

i love christmas films too some can be a little cheesy but who cares
