Feeling a bit low.
After all my efforts to get ahead my foster son has broken into my xmas stash and eaten/stolen nearly all of it. In total nearly £500 worth but I'm more annoyed about having to go shopping again. :-(
20 pages on here to catch up on too :-(
BUT my wonderful wife has just bought be a christmas magazine, some choc and is making me a cuppa :-)0 -

Oh I am so sorry to hear that. It must be so devastating.:(
I hope he has apologised.
Can you replace any, with home-made gifts ? You could get your foster son to help. It could be a good thing to do on many levels.
EDIT -Did he sell any of it ? If so, do you have the money he made ? Can you get any of it back ?0 -
Hellooooooooooooooooooo!
Sorry I havent posted yet but just popping on to let you all know that Baby Pea was a ........................drumroll.................. ....Baby Girl!
We have called her Zoe and she arrived at 12.10 lunchtime on the 9th Oct weighing 6lbs 15oz. Both doing fine, I have awful back ache as it took FOUR spinals to make me numb enough for CSection, apparently I have some weird thing going on in my spine!
Off now to buy some lovely pink things and plan what to get a little girl for Christmas!!

Congrats! Glad it went well and hope your back is better by now! Great name choice0 -

I guess we never know quite how troubled some are. Devastating for you but he is in foster care for a reason so hopefully if he is still with you at Christmas he will see the error of his ways and appreciate all the hard work and effort it takes to make not only Christmas but every day special for others.
Little comfort I know but thoughts are with you all. X0 -

Massive Congrats Pips Mum, hope you are Zoe are doing wellSnugglebunny8 wrote: »littlemschatabox that is such a shame, am so sorry to hear that - don't suppose there is anything they could do to change the length of time he's on call if he tells them you are away is there? *hugs* xxx
Well the call time cant changebut I said surely if someone was needed for a job they would ask someone who didnt have 4 hours of travelling ahead of them to get to the job & bf said hopefully thats the way it will be. He said with the weekend, he either works then or xmas eve so itll have to be the weekend & then travel back 23rd night. Might just do some last min baking on the sat to fill the day with christmassyness & watch a film so I dont feel bored! & I can spend the Sunday packing everything up ready to go that night.
Its annoying me more cos I like to be organised & his work changes things so frequently Im going crazy! :eek:gingernutbizkit wrote: »Feeling a bit low.

Im really sorry to hear thisI do hope you can get things sorted again. Is there no way things can be resolved with your foster son, or has everything gone. *hugs*
abis21 thanks for posting the jumper photos, Im hoping my local Primark has them still buy payday, if not I will be asking various family members to stores all over!
kellykghs love the photos, the little homeade snowman soup tags are cute!
We have been very organised in school this week and have had the kids decorate photoframes as christmas presents for their parents etc. Good to get it done and now they are safely away from little hands til Dec!!
Forgot to say, went to Tescos earlier, as well as the food etc on sale they did have various drinks gift sets with glasses (Jack Daniels, G&T, Vodka etc) for £5 & £8.0 -

Did they actually tell you that ? Bl0ody Cheek !!!
I'd make them this year just to spite them :rotfl:
Or give them all a voucher. After all the effort you put in last year, go for no effort this year.
Tell them, as they didn't like what you choose for them last year, you thought it was better that they chose they own gifts this year.
If they were my in-laws I'd tell them all to sod off really.
(Can you guess why I've been single for 16 years ? ):rotfl:
Sorry but some people just make me made :mad:0 -

Yeah i did chilli jam, apple chutney, apple sauce, cinder toffee, gingerbread, oatcakes, fudge, chocolate slabs and spiced nuts, personally i thought it was quite nice but every one of them had something to complain about in it that they didnt like, his sister even complained about something in there and she wasnt even given one as we had agreed between us to not do presents, she took half of someone elses basket and then moaned, does my head in but unfortunatly cant complain too much as i dont work so the christmas money isnt my money that im spending!Started comping again....Oct wins already!:£250 philosophy goody bag, £50 itunes voucher, £30 amazon voucher.....why did i ever stop!0 -
