good luck will-be-debt-free. Hope it all goes well. Please post an update when baby's here.

Amanda65 - if you go to the top of the thread (where it shows the amount of pages) - there is a "search this thread" option.
I've not tried it but I guess if you put "skittles vodka" into it it'll show you the various posts in the thread that talk about it.

I just told a work collegue about Rudolph Scene it and he had never heard of Home Bargains.
loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:
  • they really are nice.. hoping there aren't many xmas made people in my town as they are all very bahhumbug lol so i can get one next week. :D they had a gap next to the ladies penguins ones so hoping they will be putting the santa ones i've seen there.. can't decide which i like better penguin with santa hat or a santa lol (was going to make my own, we'll see on that one! now i've seen them in the shops lol.

  • chickywiggle- never heard of Home Bargains-must have led a sheltered life. Its one of my favourites.
I'm gutted that I moved from a city with a few of those, a few B & Ms, poundshop and Primark to a town that has 1 messy Boyes and a Wilkinson's. Especially at this time of year. Luckily my family all still live there and my physio in there as well, so I always have a reason to pop back :)

good luck will-be-debt-free hope all goes well & doesnt take too long x

Living social (like groupon)have vouchers for the personalised story books think its £8.00 for 1 large book or £17 for 3 regular, options includes the one where your child is santas helper.

Family bargains (not sure if everywhere has these, ours is near metrocentre retail park)had packs of 5 xmas ribbons for 99p

Got two of the primark jumpers for my daughters on sunday, look lovely.
A snowman jumper for dd who will be 3 in 4 weeks and a reindeer one for 5 yr old DD, didnt venture down stairs to check out the ladies ones but saw the mens penguin ones (also very nice) but not a chance in h*ll of my DH wearing it even if it was xmas
  • msgigglewick-Ooh those jumpers sound fab! I NEED one. :D Well done on your weight loss. x

  • Have finally figured out the difference in price on separate app's. After working it out on paper, then adding something to the app I've discovered the problem.....

If you have added something with a price to app and then deleted it, it deletes the thing/person but does not delete the amount and so the money stays at what it was.

This is for the android phone app. 'Xmas Gifts Lists' its called and has a picture of a little android man in a Santa suit.

Please double check your amounts. I'd hate to think someone was budgeting using this and ended up going over their amount. Feel bad that I recommend it now.
    Sorry everyone x

If what you say is right, they would under spend, as app would show money not actually spent AS spent .
So think positively. You may save someone money :money:
