pinknfluffy28... I do agree with what others have said but as your stepdaughter is 15 I assume you wont have to put up with this for much longer. You say you can afford it so I would be tempted to just buy her the tv and get extras for the others (more shopping yay!!) Is the mother just wanting you to be the bad guys? It might be worth spending abit more to avoid the agro?

She sounds very bitter (and abit mad actually after 10 years) maybe you could arrange for her to go get a check up from the neck up!

ha ha this made me laugh, thankyou! shes a psycho, no other way to describe her really! yep, she is always trying to punish dh for leaving her 10 yr ago, and to make us out to be bad guys constantly! but sometimes its worked to our advantage, we have never lowered ourselves to her level and thats why my 15 yo step daughter texts both her dad and me every night to say she loves us, and why both girls are so very very close to us all, even though she still makes it difficult for them & us to actually spend much time together. Spoke to dh & he really wants to just get her the tv & avoid any further upset or agro (anything for an easy life!) & he agrees we should get the other 3 a few extra bits to make up for it, so like you said...more shopping, so not all bad!

:snow_laug Finally got to Colchester shopping :snow_laug

BHS has its Christmas shop open :j
Got myself a retro radio biscuit tin.:D Have been dropping hints about one of these for years on deaf ears, so bought it myself.

Poundland had Horrible History books in. ( Who was looking for books for boys?)

Asda have candy canes in for a £1. They also had some lovely traditional style, scandinavian themed, children PJs. (Someone was looking for some.)

Got 2 of the book sets in WHS and got given a privilege card. Up to 20% of all transactions between Sun 21 Oct - Sun 4 Nov. It can be used everyday :D

Managed to get into Home Bargains 15 minutes before it closed
Me and Dd did our own Supermarket Sweep:rotfl::rotfl:
They have the Rudolf DVD game in. (If anyone local is interested.)
I got the Vtech Tablet for my nephew for £9.99. So am very pleased. It was £11.99 down from £14.99 in Argos.

So I am now back to only needing the calendar and I will be finished.:snow_grin

Finally got DDs winter coat, so she is now ready for any snow :rotfl:
I say finally as she must have tried on every one she saw.

If I lose this one on posting I will cry and you will only get an  in my next post.

started mine last weekend, making 3 bottles of each this year, two of each to go in parents hampers, and of course a bottle of each for us to enjoy over the hols. im just using the asda homebrand vodka again, and i only needed five bottles as we poured 1/4 out of each to fill up two empties we had saved!! good luck, i know you will love them!

wish we had a B&M, Home Bargains, Pound Shop and Range, do any of them do online?

Home Bargains and The Range have online stores, and apparently Poundland is getting one in 2013 :)
