rosygirl - So sorry for your loss, my heart goes out to you. I lost my Dad very unexpectedly in an accident at the end of July. It's exceptionally hard to lose a parent and especially so suddenly. Please take one day at a time and be kind to yourself.
Well todays shopping went well. Managed to finish my Halloween and Bonfire party shopping off - all at the cheapy shops - poundland, B&M, Home Bargains and Wilko. Also got the last 3 bars of 50p Galaxy in Wilko's to do the sleighs with, got some candy canes from Home Bargains I think they were 79p for 8. Got hubby a pair of Star Wars boxers and also got 2 wind up torches for my Mum and Brother's car safety hampers.
Just order Mollie Makes Christmas from the book people too.
Order Mum's wellies and a Radley mug for her stocking whilst they have free delivery.0 -
Damzel In Distress - I bought the Ruldolph scene it game in the home bargains altrincham store today - had 4 or 5 left on shelf and 5 different scene it games (twilight, comedy, glee) so didn't look like it was a one off
HTH
Thanks, If I can't find one closer I shall be getting the bus all the way there to get one, I refuse to not get oneStarsquishy that sounds fantasticDamsel In Distress I can take a look in Farnworth Home Bargains in the week if you want me to. Oh dear Own My Own, I am so glad there was a happy ending. But i have to say I love snow too, although my OH doesn't like it all at lol
I didn't even know there was a Home Bargains in farnworth! It isn't somewhere I go a lot to be honest even though it isn't that far away, I have a small home bargains near me, but it really is very tiny and doesnt sell a lot of the bigger better stuff the others do. If you see one there please do let me knowIll make the trip there instead as it's only a 20 min bus journey.:)
msgigglewick - that elf bag is lovely. I wish I could knit! I've wanted to learn for years, my mother used to knit and she tried to show me once or twice, It quickly became apparent that I don't have the talent or patience! :rotfl:
Rosygirl - So sorry about your mum.
I having nothing to report on the xmas front apart from a 3 pack of old style santa christmas tree decorations I bought from poundland! Haha!
They're starting to get loads more stuff out now compared to how it was a few weeks back, I would of loved to of had a proper browse but my supposed 'friend' was nagging at me for apparently 'touching all the christmas things in sight' :rotfl:Having a coke with youis even more fun than going to San Sebastian, Irun, Hendaye, Biarritz, Bayonne
or being sick to my stomach on the Travesera de Gracia in Barcelona0 -
Thinking of you Rosygirl at this very sad time.
I don't know what seems to have happened to my Christmas planning! I thought I was doing so well till about July then suddenly it's October . Argh damn that boy of mine not only did he move to Australia leaving me broken hearted but I lost two months too!!!
Must consult my lists again tomorrow and make a plan. And start the crafty things I love to do. Might have to ration the time I spend on this forum and the hours I loose on PintrestTill I'm back on track. X
The secret of Christmas
It's not the things you do at Christmastime
