Wooo hooo I've posted a link :) who'd have thought it thanks Own MyOwn.
Not at all moneysavingmumofone that's what Christmas is all about. There is much more pleasure in giving. It's a good feeling to be able to share that's what we are all here for. And the help I've had from you lot in the last few weeks has helped so very much :)
    The secret of Christmas
It's not the things you do at Christmastime
But the Christmas things you do

    Your welcome Nanamia,

It took me ages to work out how to do it. But as with most things, it is easy when you know how.:D

Right where to start I've had a marathon catch up- note to self - check in more regularly in future. Now where is my list?
th_cb663d10cbe8338869088ad80fef60ed.jpg not sure if that's any use to you Kayandy but I thought it was so cute:) How was Manchester I was thinking of you when I heard on the radio that one of the party conferences was being held there thought roads might have been closed off etc:(

That is very cute :) thankies!! Manchester was okay it was packed and didn't really manage to get what I wanted as had to rush off but will be going back in a few weeks with my sister when she gets of holiday!! Hope all is well with you :)

  • I cant keep up.. I try to get on twice a day, morning and evening and indeed, managed that yesterday but have still had to read through 5 or so pages to catch up!

EmmaLou..so sorry to hear about your loss. I cant empathise from the point of view of losing a parent, but I lost my brother nearly 5 years ago.And so awful for your brother to have been badly injured but still be here to tell the tale...hope hes not finding it too tough. You're right, the first of anything after you've lost someone is hard, but it gets easier to deal with your emotions as the years go on. I do hope you and your family are able to enjoy in a way thats right for you xx

I've realised that I am very nearly done with gifts that need taking to my parents. Phew! I am going to visit at the end of October for a few days and so wanted to get my Mum, Dad, their two dogs, Grandad, best friends and goddaughter all sorted as I wont see them again before the 22nd Dec. (and I dont want to leave present giving till then just in case with bad weather or anything else we dont make it to visit that day) The only thing ive still to get in order to have everything ready to take at the end of the month is my best friends present.

    Which means I only have:
    Hubby
    Mother in law
Sister in Law to get gifts for. Hooray!

    Perfect! :T
I'll have to have a good look. There wasn't anything exciting last time I got the chance to have a nosey

Hi I posted on Saturday/Sunday that I'd been to Primark and bought children's xmas PJs. They had two types the traditional flannel type one with button up tops (Xmas design in an icy blue, white and silver colours) and then fleecy ones in various designs. They are £4 for 2-3, 4-5,5-6 and then £5 for 7-8 upwards. What was a little annoying is that you can't get the same design for a 4-5 year old and a 8-9 year old.

Just bought the 12 days of christmas yankee candle votive gift set for £18.99 including delivery on ebay. Works out at £1.58 per candle (cheapest I could see for Christmasy yankee candles). Am going to split it and use them as thank you gifts. :)
  • For those who like a christmas mag, the Prima Christmas edition is out on 29th October :j
