DS isn't that old, but I need clothes for him that are around age 8-9! It's a shame really because they do make christmas clothes for small children, which he is, but with him being so tall he doesn't fit in them. His dad is 6'5, and 5'8 so the poor kid never had a chance of being a regular size :rotfl:
Makes it awkward with jeans and school pants etc, as i always have to find ones with adjustable waists or tracksuit bottom type waists. All his pj's now are size 8-9.
I find primark sizes come up small in the kids section anyway, and they shrink when washed as well. When he was 4 i had to get him a size 7 onsie and it only lasted about 2 months before it had shrunk in the wash and he had grown even more!

I'll keep my eye out as well and let you know if i see anything :)

I'm sooooo jealous of you getting twilight tickets! I can't wait to see it, but I will have to wait until it's actually out and see if i can afford it.
I've watched all the others the night they came out, So I'll be gutted this year if I'm not first in the cinema line with my fist shoved in my mouth out of excitement.:rotfl:
Snap lol, my DS has always been in bigger sizes as hes really tall, hes in 10-11. Im 5ft 7 (i think lol) and my OH about 5ft 9 so not particularly tall but I think he gets it from my side as most of the men in my family are over 6ft and my sisters/mum are 5ft 9/10. I shrink anything no matter where its from, its a talent I have. :D Let the christmas pyjama hunt commence! :xmastree:
Hope you get to see Twilight, if I dont make this money I wont be lol. IHopefully ill get the money together as I promised my 16 yr old sister Id take her and its £15 each. That is all 5 films though from 2.50pm til 2.20am! We did it last year and although the first films did drag a bit it had to be done. :D Ive made £7 so far hehe. :)

Right where to start I've had a marathon catch up- note to self - check in more regularly in future. Now where is my list?
th_cb663d10cbe8338869088ad80fef60ed.jpg not sure if that's any use to you Kayandy but I thought it was so cute:) How was Manchester I was thinking of you when I heard on the radio that one of the party conferences was being held there thought roads might have been closed off etc:(
Clayton and baby06 are you joining us for a festive get together in Bents?
Chirpychick and Metalmand well done you are so organised :)
Own My Own I hate tinsel too- yuk. I like a touch of glitter though and only white LED lights (not that I'm fussy)
Damsel I was thinking about maybe a decal for the outside of my shower screen - or is that going over the top? Well done you with your DVD bargains I too got Noel last week for 1p with £1.26 postage. It's the nativity next for me with all these recommendations:)
ShonaM I truly hope your DS is having a better time at school this week. I hated school :(
Alwaysafterabargain I don't kno about you but I'm excited for you to get your hubby home from Afghanistan. I think it takes a special person to be married to a soldier:)
I hope that cake is baked and your fridge is bursting with goodies for him.
Emalou what a tragic story. And what an inspiration you are. I love the matey tradition being kept on and am sure it would make your DD chuckle.
Oriebaby good luck for tomorrow :)
Phew post more regularly then you won't need to reply with an essay !!

The christmas pyjama hunt, I like it haha. I may start a thread entitled that :rotfl:

I have a 15 year old sister who I took last year as well, and the year before, and the year before lol. Hopefully it will be the same this year because my dad was horrified at the thought of him having to take her late at night, therefore enlists me to do it which means... He pays! :D:D:D:D:D:D!!

Noel is on my list, I'm going to order it next time there's a spare £2 floating around in the bank account, Happens often with me! You can't exactly take it out the cash machine, and even though I could wait until the £2 here and there added up to £10 to withdraw, It gives me an excuse to buy silly cheap things off amazon lol.
And no, a decal sounds brilliant! I've never seen a christmas one though, so if you come across one please post a link for me to see :)
I definitely won't be able to afford one this year (unless you find one for a £1 :rotfl:) but it won't stop me wanting to look at them and crossing my fingers for next year !
    Having a coke with you
is even more fun than going to San Sebastian, Irun, Hendaye, Biarritz, Bayonne
or being sick to my stomach on the Travesera de Gracia in Barcelona
