One thing I'm on the look out for is a festive/winter door mat, one the hairy ones, never ever managed to find one of those so this year it's a mission.

Noticed some in B&M's today, didn't get a good look or see prices. They were abit thin but OK for xmas,

Thanks to everyone for the links to Santa comes to Ipswich, think it will be a great gift for my nieces, though I wont actually see them until new year.
Mine and OH families are at complete opposite sides of the country. Do you think the story will still be ok to read after christmas or should I get one now and put it up for next year ? xx

Does anyone watch 'Dog the bounty hunter'? Ive just watched one that I recorded on Saturday (I think) and it was 'The hunt for Santa' one of dog's children didnt believe anymore so he put a bounty out on him and took all the kids on a hunt for him, the end was really magical :D

Not sure if we will use it this year.Ds hates it.
Every time he walks in the lounge he say 'I hate that tree.'
I sigh 'You hated the big green tree.'
'I hate that one more !' he replies.:rotfl:

Hi fellow Xmas lovers! doing ok onthe present front, finished one of my neices and almost the other (still got their xmas eve boxes to do mind)

I always buy my bro a pair of converse from Schuh, ususally around £40,and just picked up a pair off amazon for £19!!! bargain!

Can i just ask, as ive got his trainers so cheap, in my head im thinking great, i can get him £20 of something else to, then it got me thinking, do you spend the same amount and give more or do you use the RRP.

I have always got the bargains, but still made sure i spent the same amount (meaning they get better or more gifts) im not rly sure if thats very money saving or not!

He is expecting trainers , and he will have them . That is enough.

Most of my gifts are bought in the sales. I add up what it would have cost me, not what it did.

PS Got nieces Paul Frank LiP Smackers (balms) half price (£3.50) to go with their bags. So they are now done :j

They've given them to you for your inconveinience and trouble. They're yours to do with as you want. Personally sell them on yourself or give away as presents :)

I've sold one set for £23 today, so really pleased with that as it will pay for me to take DS to the cinema or ice skating etc in december. It's been safely put away in the christmas tin im trying to put any spare (when is it ever!) cash in.:D

Im going to nip to Primark today and see if they have any christmas pyjamas for DS, the hunt goes on! Have a good day everyone. x

Did you find any? *Edit just seen another post that says you didnt , never mind!*
I've hunted for 'proper' christmas pjs for DS for the past two years and never managed to get any :(
If you do find anywhere that has any would you please let me know? I always get him a new pair for xmas eve but i'd love him to have some that were truly christmassy.:)

    95% done now...
just need to nab sweets for nephew and niece's and a large tin for sister and bil. and grab a bottle of spirt for dad and thats me done.. wont get sweets or drink till near the time as i will eat the sweets and drink the drink lol

I do that too :rotfl:I can't help myself.
Although with me in the past, even buying close to christmas hasn't helped.
Once i eat someone's chocolate and drank their vodka on xmas even and ran out and replaced it on xmas morning :D

I'm drooling over that primark throw! I want, I want, I want , I want *stamps foot* :rotfl:
I haven't been to primark for ages! It used to be a weekly occurance, and last year the only time i went at christmas i couldnt even look at anything christmassy because my sister was dragging me through clothes, clothes and more clothes. The year before that they barely sold anything christmas like, so this year i've decided im going to go alone and I am not leaving until i have one of those throws :D

I adore candles, I have so any different christmas candle holders i could open a shop. I can't justify yankee prices any more though :(
The ex always used to say he was surprised I hadn't burned us alive with the amount of candles i had going every night of december.
I usually get through at least 150 tea lights as well :o

I bought The Father Christmas DVD off amazon today as well for 31p plus £1.26 postage. It's pre owned but i wanted to get it DS for xmas eve this year as last year i bought the snowman from hmv for £6 and for a total of £1.57 in, very good condition according the the seller i think it's a total bargain.
    Having a coke with you
is even more fun than going to San Sebastian, Irun, Hendaye, Biarritz, Bayonne
or being sick to my stomach on the Travesera de Gracia in Barcelona
