weight wise the 80 bags is 1360g's..
Thanks for these. I've been in 4 tesco's and 2 asda's now and NONE have the haribo sweet tins. am beginning to think despite them being on the adverts they don't exist.
I do however have a farmfoods locally so thats a fab idea.chirpychick wrote: »I have had this idea (and I can't find any photos of it to add to Pinterest lol) but if I can find a Mars Bar Mug then fill it with some snack size Mars Bars and 1 or 2 bigger mars bars and the wrap in cello and tie with ribbon this would make a lovely gift for my FIL.
He isn't allowed much chocolate but does love a treat now and again and would be over the moon with something like this, also my hubby with kit kat chunky and other various family members, I may do them for Birthdays next year or Christmas as small token presents.................ReformedShopaholic wrote: »Dammit I knew there was somewhere I meant to go when I left work.....
WH Smith had some book sets in the window, Christmas ones for £5.
Tomorrow when I leave work I will have a look exactly what they are.ReformedShopaholic wrote: »Afternoon everyone,
right today I remembered to look in WH Smith. The book set is :
The magic of Christmas (Trisha Ashley)
The perfect Christmas (Georgie Carter)
Fairy Tale of New York (Miranda Dickinson)
Not sure what they are about as I could only see them in the window. Price is £5, haven't checked Amazon or anywhere to check if cheaper anywhere else (just home from work and realised I have 5 pages of this thread to catch up on)
Ohhh I have £10 of whsmiths vouchers - might need to take a trip.I bought the jolly postman christmas version
I love these books. sadly DS was a bit little for my ones and we are missing most of the inserts so I need to rebuy them all.Snugglebunny8 wrote: »that's lovely!!
as nobody really likes fruit cake in our house, last year DS and I made a chocolate fudge cake - I usually make the butter icing but there was a tin of dark chocolate fudge frosting (Betty Crocker I think) reduced right down in Sainsburys so we used that, covered the whole thing in it, put a Christmas foil ribbon round it and sprinkled icing sugar on the top for snow, I bought a reindeer with sleigh, Santa, Christmas trees and a snowman from Amazon (the reindeer and sleigh is amazing, will try and find link) and they are going to be our traditional Christmas cake decorations each year for whatever cake we make
Sainsburys had their Christmas tins and bakeware etc reduced by 90% Christmas week so bought 3 lovely cake tins with Christmas scenes on them for about £1 which we will use each year.
The cake was centre peice for tea on Christmas day
we all hate fruit cake too. thanks for these brill ideas.
have been away since Monday and it's taken me nearly 2 hours to catch up so sorry if I miss anyone.
Have had to write this in word then copy it over as nearly had a heartattack when i opened all my quotes (something like 10 tabs) then firefox crashed. thankfully they all recovered.Possession wrote: »These are upside down gingerbread men so you could use the ones you can buy in big packs from the SM bakery if you liked
