Ive just been asked by Hastings direct to review them and i will get a £5 amazon voucher that will go towards the cost of season 1 of the Simpsons for my dd, we have had a chat and Ive told her she will get the whole series over the course of Christmas and birthdays cos the cost will be around £300:eek:for all of them, we are saving to get her an i pad as her main pressie this year, my oh has asked for screwfix vouchers so i can put money on a gift card each month to build it up between now and Christmas.

Store 21 are offering wicker baskets with lid attached in 3 different sizes for half price. Ideal if you're looking for baskets for Christmas. I've bought too many...but figure it's very MSE as I've saved at least £20 ;)
They also have large canvas boxes in different colours - two for £10.
    Stopped smoking 20th October 2012 :D

This year I will have something that resembles a garden and not a building site!

Oh I love this thread nearly as much as I love Christmas.

I started the year off well, my hubby always buys me a little book from Paperchase for my Christmas present....which does for the following year.

I was able to start filling it in on Christmas night this year as I got two presents which I was able to regift.

I then spent Boxing Night same as every other year by starting a spreadsheet and nosing through the sales to see if any thing jumped out at me.

I decided this year not to wrap as I buy as I think I would enjoy having one big session nearer Christmas.

So far I have a good lot of little bits bought, and for closer family I already have a cross stitch piece done. I will get a list up when I get to my little book.

I also have joined Tesco Christmas Savers and have £27 saved with them, plus £38 of Clubcard vouchers which I am hoping they do the double up again this year on toys which will sort my son out.

Main expense this year will be my parents present. They have paid for me, hubby, son, my brother, sis in law and daughter to go on holiday to Turkey with them this year. So we are planning on booking and paying for them to go with us next year....Hoping to get it booked soon to get free kids places.

Think that is all my chatter for now.....lol...

Thank you! I just can't wait! I love getting christmassy candles too when it's nearer to the time, whilst I sort things out..I have a couple of them stored away in my cupboard ready to pull out later in the year! :) cuppa sounds good! Think I shall grab one now and get planning xx

I have quite a few Christmas Yankee Candles. I burn them all the year round as they're my favourite fragrances. I'm going to try Kringle candles this year.

I also have lots of Christmas books and DVDs which I dip into throughout the year. I bought another carol CD at a charity stall today.

It's great to find some like-minded people - my OH thinks I'm mad! :)

I bought a sleigh today from tesco. it was £2 so that's another Xmas present out of the way.

we're all doing well on Christmas. I love reading this thread . went to home bargains and the snow balls chocolate balls were reduced , they were dated next year so I picked up a few packets of those . also got 5 sherbet dip dabs for £1 thought I'd do some retro sweet boxes for the family. I got the boxes from the £1 shop.

    black Kat what's kringle candles?

dundeedoll like the idea of Xmas in June lol I'd miss the lights around though in the streets
