Chirpychick the treats and buzz fizz is a fab idea. Your mum will live it too cos of the thought and love uve put into it. I would anyway. And it's another problem solved. You are doing so so well. Obviously you are putting me to shame. But we go away for a week next Friday and as much as I want to dooooo Christmas I've gotta concentrate on sun cream etc and lists. I'm never happier than with a list - so sad! But come the 25th May I'll be in full time:) I might even pick up a few bits and bobs on our hols:)

There will be a talented lovely around shortly to help with the verse. X

We are going away a week next Saturday lol, where are you going?
We are off to Norfolk for a week (taking the dogs) it hadn't even occurred to me to look for a few Christmas bits whilst away, what a great idea! The end of our holiday and the main reason for going up that way is a family wedding, we come back 2nd of June. It will be our last holiday with just us eek! looking forward to it my hubby deserves the rest from work

chirpychick, I think thats a great idea, re biscuits and wine.

Little tip, wait until november for the biscuits they go on 3 for 2 then and as regard the bucks fizz if you go into m&s regularly. You`ll be able to get a meal deal for £10 . You get the main, side and dessert for 10£ and the wine as well. So you get a treat and the wine free.

I do this on occasionally as a treat. My OH and I enjoy the treat in the caravan and the wines I collect to gift. Normally one of the bottles on offer is sold separately at £10.....

Chirpychick I think that sounds great about the biscuits and bubbly. Hopefullly your mum will love it that you were thinking of old times.
I'm not very focussed on Christmas at the moment as we are trying not to spend any money at all except on essentials. Normally I would have snapped up those Portmeiron pasta bowls but I'm being good until DH finds a job.

Maybe u could write a note to go with the gift saying something like this?:

Heres a gift from the past
Pop the cork and have a laugh
Theres a tin of sweet nibbles too
A reminder of past christmas's spent just me and you
??? im really bad at little sayins but thought i'd try and help lol

Thats really good!
But the "just me and you" bit isn't how it was so id need to somehow amend that bit maybe "a reminder of past Christmas's spent with you"???

Keep an eye out for your freeby vistaprint for your personalised gifts Ive just had a mug, tshirt and a canvas bag for £5.70 just paid for delivery but the pens and calendars are fab too, theyve just added a nicklodeon section altho these are not free yet im sure they will be soon lol dora, diego sponge bob fab for littlies x
