    :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

I could watch that film everyday. I LOVE IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!
One year I am going to spend Christmas in Vermont. At a Holiday Inn.

Just popped on to ask does anyone know why - The Worlds Stongest Man in on Channel 5 NOW

It is ALWAYS on between Christmas and New Year. I dent tell ds . We watch it as a family every year.

Thanks Channel 5 for KILLING OUR FAMILY TIME !!! WE DON'T HAVE A LOT :mad::mad::mad::mad:

EDIT - BREATH , BREATH, THEY ARE ONLY THE QUALIFYING HEATS :D
  • junior_j wishing you a very speedy recovery & a very merry christmas.
jj hope turbo turns up soon, im a dog person myself so luckily dont have wandering issues, but i can only immagine how awful it must be to have a member of the family go walkabouts!

I want snow!!! lots of it mind, so that we have to shut shop & i can stay home AND get paid for it (yeah, like thats gonna happen)!
Posted my elf cards today, and going to wrap last of hampers as i now have both dd's school photos framed to include. Elves are bringing paper chain kits tonight so cant wait to get home tomorrow & do them with girls.

13 more shifts at work & then I have 7 whole days off over christmas...yipee, roll on 21st!!

Pink, I also want Snow! Poole is very sheltered so it generally passes us by :(

OMO can you not record it now and then watch it over Xmas? Is it a repeat perhaps? My Step Dad watches it every Xmas - I am sure he will be very annoyed to know it's on now.

It's just lost the first part of my post!
Anyway, was just saying I thought White Christmas would be REALLY festive & it wasn't. Still good film, though. Got 'sisters' song stuck in my head, though! :rotfl:
My mum's been to Vermont. It sounds lovely. Plus it's the home of Ben & Jerry's. :T

I second that! My school closed today but I felt cheated because I was already off sick :rotfl: The snow came out of nowhere so none of the roads were gritted, our school is at the top of a steep hill and most of the teachers aren't local so I think they had to decide to close at 9am when there weren't enough staff there yet. My friend who lives in my town (only a couple of miles from the school) took over 2 hours to get there - it normally is a 15 minute journey!) Probably no chance of that tomorrow as I should think the gritters will be out in force tonight. Mind you, it's meant to go down to -5 and that effect on the slush and snow won't be very nice  Also my next door neighbours are on holiday and it's only them and us down this end of our close and I have been inside since Monday so no cars have driven on the snow in our corner yet, I hate being the first! So worried about skidding!

I cancelled due to the risk of ice. Not worth people putting their lives at risk for a few quid. Think my friend was relieved. Had the feeling she didn't want to cancel as she thought she would be letting me down.

Am sitting here in PJs wrapping Cupcake Socks in my bargain 20 for £1 snowflake celo bags.:D

    Am loving the facebook page.:D:D
Make me feel famous, even though nobody knows it's me.:rotfl:

That's a shame, will there be an opportunity to rebook it? Your cello bags sound most excellent - I've been looking for similar in poundland for months with no luck
