Do you watch Big Bang Theory at all? There's an episode where the characters set up an assembly line to make hair accessories to meet a large order within 24 hours. Was just thinking if you did all the printing, then all the cutting etc it may save you some time?Hobnobs are like marines0 -

Thanks, I already do it like that. Goodness only knows how long they would take if I did them individually.:)
But they are done now. Back to making boxes. I like making boxes.:D
I am not doing any ES decs. They take to long. I am putting 4 in a box instead.0 -
Met some friends last night, not seen each other for ages as it is difficult for us all to co-ordinate diaries. Was like dealing with children as I gave them their Christmas gifts, know it is early, but we won't see each other again until new year. Anyway, they had to get a little extra special from my winnings, they were actually arguing over which gift in the bag to open first, got them each a Yankee candle, each with different scent, piece of jewellery and a book or cd.
Then one of them showed us the most beautiful cards she has bought. She works in a hospital and one of the nurses has made cards to raise money for the neo natal unit. Very simple Merry Xmas, in alternate pink & blue letters and then you realise that the letters are actually diddy hands and feet, nearly cried.
Currently having a break from wrapping and have Christmas cd blaring (well thought I better lower volume a bit:))A smile costs little but creates much0 -

Looks gorgeous! Also, I LOVE the lights above your table in the kitchen area!
These are incredible! You must be so patient. I do OK with cupcakes but I have to stick to the er...messy variety - e.g. something like rocky road cupcakes. Anything that requires neatness or me working with white icing for too long is not a good idea!
Chickywiggle the lego chocolates look fab too! I have chocolate gingerbread men to make but not making them too soon or I will eat them all.Snugglebunny8 wrote: »just wanted to send my best wishes re your sister. My hubby had 4 operations last year on his retina, just wanted to say that it really does get better (after the ops she may look a little like the Terminator but reassure her it clears very quickly) and that to start with - if she has a gas bubble or oil - she may not immediately have vision or full vision, it does come back slowly - hubby has better vision now than he had before the ops, we found 'one day at a time' really helped us, if you want to ask any questions my hubby will be happy to let you know what it was like for him
Thanks for this, may take you up on it at some point! She was really upset at first because they dwelled on how young she was to need the operation (do consultants EVER engage their brains before they speak?!) but she's much calmer now. She didn't want to Google for more information so I did but all I could really find were horror stories of people who'd left it too long and were now going blind. So she's focusing on the positive of them catching it early enough. They're doing both eyes but one is worse, think they're doing the other eye as preventative. She's off on maternity leave at the moment, they think she'll have the operation sometime in April, how long would you say she might need help for? They've said a few days in hospital but no mention of how much help she'll need when she gets home. She has a 3 month old and a 2 and 1/2 year old so she tends to never stop as it is!0 -
