Birthday IN's as gifts: A lovely Charlie orangey scented BS, a mango, passionfruit and orange body butter and a near-matching Radox shower smoothie (Island Indulgence).
All looks lovely and how clever of my friend to co-ordinate three very different brands so well.
I just made it home from a birthday shopping trip when a tummy bug struck with real virulence- scary as we only just managed to catch the bus.
I would have been very ill in public or on public transport... phew... Means I missed my birthday tea and the live music club, but hey-ho, stuff happens. It could have been an absolute shameful nightmare and it was just a bit of a nuisance.

    Hey everyone. Remember me? :D

I'm not "in" for May because I'm really unwell at the moment (early pregnancy and M.E so a big double whammy!) so haven't been managing to use anything up because I don't have the energy, but I just wanted to check in and see how everyone is. :)

Congrats Mummy to be :) - have you already said? Did I miss this?

:bdaycake: Happy Birthday And - hope you are feeling better. What a shame about how your evening plans didn't work out as you had hoped.

Another UU tonight, my Nivea facial wipes. WBA as the are a good price and they suit my oily skin. I am now moving on to a No 7 Quick Wipes from a skinny voucher.

That sounds awful. Hope you feel better now.

And to SuiDreams - glad the reaction is calming down.

Have bobbed on to declare a GA. Am giving my friend at work one of my back up bottles of Supermodel. She's a lucky girl lol.

Carolyn, I know this sounds drastic but have you thought about going on the pill? That was the thing that really sorted my skin out once and for all. Not for everybody, but worth a try maybe?

Same here. I had a back and chest that resembled a pizza before going on the pill. Now I just get a few spots around my jawline.

I would also recommend the Travalo to the poster who was talking about taking perfume to work.

I read this thread last night and assumed Debs was a person and thought wasn't she nice to give someone a Chanel lipgloss... I literally only worked out what it meant this morning.

    Morning lovelies,

Sorry about the rollercoaster Fiasco55 :D:o

Glad your face is getting better SuiDreams

    I have ins to report.

In the name of economy I have been having my hair cut and coloured at the local technical college in their training salon. (A cut and root tint cost me £8.50 last time I went.:dance::dance:)

However they are closed In June, July, and August, so I will have to make other arrangements so I've booked for a mobile lady to come and give my hair a trim and do the roots for me which will cost about £35.

However she did a patch test and I had a reaction to the brand of hair dye she uses - so I have ordered my own Wella Koleston colours to match what has been used on me at the college, plus a colouring set with bowl measuring jug, brushes etc and a 500ml Wella developing cream.

I've also got an Avon order on the way, and I need eye brow tint, microwaveable wax, and Clairol Root Touch up stuff as well so it's a busy month for "Ins"!

I'm trying to do a total beauty spend of £1000 for the year - but it's starting to add up fast!

What do you think of the liz earle make up? X

I absolutely love the concealer and powder. They are both a great colour for me (I'm fair skinned with dark hair) and not too pinky. The precision brush is also lovely and I really want to get the powder brush too. I'm not sure I've got the best shade of blush for me, but I like the texture so will probably try one of the other colours too. Thanks for asking though :D.

I have a UU!!! The TBS Apple Shower Gel that I thought would be finished at the weekend is finally finished. I love this shower gel, but will be quite pleased to have a change for a bit.

Wow you've all been very chatty.

Congrats to Lady Morticia and Happy Birthday And.

Well face not as good today, hoping to get the rid of the redness and dryness by Holiday, but last time my face was like this it took 2 months for it to calm down. I work in a very warm dry office so that probably doesn't help.

Anyway just popped in to say Hi, back to work no time for a break today.

    Morning all.

    Have had some in's today:

Smashbox photo finish luminizing primer - sample came in the post this morning.

Free full size clinique lipstick from their lip and eye consultation event running today.

Free mini clinique high lengths mascara - swapped an avon one which was very clumpy.

No7 nude lipliner, the £5 vouchers are back on and it was £2.50 with the voucher so very pleased with that.

Estee lauder double wear foundation sample, quite a generous amount given by the consultant.

Oh and some jojoba oil and castor oil for my oil cleansing regime.
