Another OUT to declare:
L'Occitane mousse de lavande (500ml) - DH had been using this but true to form gave up when he was down to the last half cm in the bottle. Being :money:I have been using it up over the last week - bottle stood on end, I got at least 5 more showers out of it. WBA as I love L'Occitane products - however have plenty to keep me going for a while yet. The Q have got a L'Occitane TSV next month so will be looking to you lovely people for some support not to cave in......
I have supplied him witha LE Energizing shower gel and I am going back to a L'Occitane sweet lemon shower cream (500ml) which I hope to finish in June.
I had a rubbish start to the month - it was about the 15th before I notched up a UU but at least this week things have picked up a bit - it is getting quite rewarding when I can stick another bottle in the recycling bin and release another item from the stash drawers/cupboard.0 -
Three UU this morning:
No. 7 P & P Intense serum - I do really like this in terms of how it makes my skin feel and how my makeup applies over it but I'm going to hold off buying it again right away as haven't tried any other serums so haven't anything to compare it to. Toying with the idea of L'Oreal Luminize which you can pick up for around £10 off Ebay. Ideally I'd like to get EL Idealist (no pun intended!) but its a little more pricey - its my birthday soon so will see if I get any Debs or Boots vouchers maybe. Feeling the need to replace the extra level of skincare so have plumped for Clarins Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch out of the stash which must have been a GWP at some point. Initial observations are this is fantastic at minimising large pores and gives a nice base for makeup also.
Other UU are Sure Nutritive roll on deo and Aussie Aussome Volume Conditioner, both HG products for me, more Sure in the stash but will hold off on replacing the conditioner rightaway as have several random ones in the stash, having managed to UU most of my shampoo stash quicker by repurposing stuff I didn't like as handwash. Will now aim to reduce the conditioners also and then might stick with the Aussie as I like it and its a reasonable price.0 -
Ooooh. Lots to reply to but my brain isn't up and running yet.
I can't resist asking Kaz about her brilliant BB cream though! :rotfl:
I hope you don't mind me asking but what brand is it that you are using? I tried one by Missha (I think!) and it wore off really quickly. What is your skin normally like? (I'm being very nosy)
It sounds like an excellent decision (& very nice of you) to pass your P&P stuff on :T I'm tempted to do the same...

This is the one I got! No 3 repairing. Have given MIL all the P&P stuff this evening. She's happy and so am I! So it's all good
Thanks for your comments, tokkiandoliver. Well done on the outs too!

Not that I should be encouraging any more ins for myself but just wondering if any of you have acne-prone skin and can recommend a good product to use on my body? I've been struggling with breakouts, mostly on my chest but also on my back and to a lesser extent my arms. Any recommendations greatly appreciated - none of the usual creams/lotions they tell you to use are doing a thing!ISA savings: £25,139 Other Savings: £1750 (tied up in bond)0

TA - 2 Body Shop lip balms. They were half empty when I found them and the consistency was off. Must have had them for ages before they surfaced. Not worth keeping as there wasn't that much so I chucked them.
WIBA? No. They don't keep my lips particularly moisturised. I've found a different (BS hemp) lip balm that I use instead and I have the Vaseline to use up too still.ISA savings: £25,139 Other Savings: £1750 (tied up in bond)0 -
Hello all.
Hope everyone is well.
UU:
Bastiste fresh dry shampoo 75ml- WIBA? yes, I've opened my other one. I'd like to try the Super*rug dry shampoo though.
Alberto Balsalm coconut and lychee shampoo 400ml- I like the AB shampoos, but there's a couple of others I'd like to try first.
Johnson's essentials facial wash gel sachet - quite hard to tell from a sachet, but did its job.
Also took a No7 mascara to the Clinique swap, got a high lengths one for my mum, but realised it has a funny plastic brush, and really, she wouldn't know what do do with it, so i'll just keep it. Ohh well, I tried0 -
Evening ladies,
Hope everyone is well and enjoying this glorious weather
I have been buried under a pile of books and papers for the last while so haven’t been able to keep up with the thread, but I submitted my final piece of coursework for my degree today (fingers crossed) so can finally get back to having some fun. :j
Some uu’s to declare (well the ones I can remember)
Revlon photoready foundation – wba – this is my HG foundation and I have none left in the stash
Percy &Reed tlc mask – this was a freebie from Glamour a few months ago. It did seem to a decent job in keeping my hair soft but the price tag puts me off, I have used other conditioners that are just as good but cost a lot less. Still it was nice to try it out
M&S maisons senteurs shower gel – this looked and sounded so promising from the description on the packaging but was quite disappointing – that said it did do the job it’s intended for, but wnba
Elemis frangipani shower gel – oh how I love this, it smells divine and is so creamy, it is stupidly expensive for a shower gel but that said I will probably treat myself to it again at some point as I absolutely adore using it
also I had a nails inc auto -delivery due earlier in the month but I cancelled it :A- I do not need any more nail polish!
Happy pampering,xo0 -
Evening ladies,
Before I catch up (again!) on your news, I just have to say the following:
Landed at Manchester only 3 hrs ago and am now at Mum's. I've just opened my secret-easter-bunny gift and am over the moon! So beautifully packaged too! I have a cadbury's creme egg;BS Chocomania shower gel/body lotion; Philosophy marshmallow lipgloss and a snow angel shower gel. I am really really excited about the Philosophy as I wanted to get them in the Boots sale and missed out. So a huge THANK YOU to my easter bunny!!Do nothing in haste; look well to each step; and from the beginning think what may be the end - Edward Whymper0 -
Dippykitty, I also have quite spotty skin on my shoulders and sometimes chest area, and weirdly my legs sometimes (but mainly after waxing) I have just bought no7 microdermabrasion scrub for face and also the one for body. I have yet to try the body one, but the facial one is really good. I will let you know when I try the body scrub, got it for £5.50 with the no7 voucher xxAll you need is less0
