I've been using WP7 since it came out (so almost 18 months) - have an HTC Mozart.slightly annoying that the lumia 700 doesnt support flash...
I can honestly say, that I haven't come across ANY mobile website that I haven't been able to view.
I'm not sure that flash is still all that relevent on mobile sites?
I would agree with Diamonds - WP7 is smooth and slick - and yes - you might not have the huge amount of apps that other o/s's have - I believe that we do have something like 85% of the top 100 apps - and again to echo Diamonds - there's far far less crap.
I wouldn't hesitate to get another one, when this phone dies - but it's all personal choice at the end of the day.0 -
Buy the Nokia. I saw Carphone Warehouse are doing it for about £130.
It !!!!es all over the equivalent android phones in almost every respect such as speed and reliability. After a couple of months with a wildfire or a galaxy ace you will most likely have a very, very slow phone which will never see another operating system update.0 -
I looked at the Nokia myself but was put off by the small amount of storage space - I need space on my phone for music.I shot a vein in my neck and coughed up a Quaalude.

There are enough posts and articles on gsm arena about the Nokia lumias connectivity issues. So it is as reliable as any other smartphone. Each had it's issues. See loads of comparison videos on YouTube and make up your own mind as to what suits you best. What is the cost of the lumia being suggested..
Apps on most types of smart phones can be see in alphabetical order with a single click. Even on my Android phone. So the comment about just a Nokia being able to do it is wrong. You can even get Nokia lumia or iPhone like customisations on your Android phone using various launchers. If you want the tile appearance of windows or iPhone look then see numerous videos on YouTube on how to customise that look on Android.
Also app costs need to be kept in mind. Many apps like the one you have in mind cost about 69 pence on iPhones and free on Android and a couple of pounds on windows if you get the app in the first place. Also can it Bluetooth over photos etc. Can you drag and drop files like on a computer our do you need to use zune like iTunes to convert files unlike on Android where most files can be played without conversion and can transfer files without n
By just dragging and dropping from your computer. Can you share only to Facebook and twitter or like on Android can you share with anything you please like dropbox, google+, or anything that you want. Does it have an memory card slot, user removable Barry etc are things which might influence your decision. See enough reviews on tech websites and YouTube and make up your own mind.
Low hardware spec phones might not be able to do what the higher spec phones do. See what suits your budget best. See the deals posted on hotukdeals website and comparison reviews on YouTube to make up your mind.bubblesmoney :hello:0 -
ok ive narrowed it down to either the Nokia Lumia 710 or the HTC wildfire.....0

You can compare the two phones on geekaphone. At a glance it seems that the Nokia has a better spec than the HTC.
I'm currently on the look out for a new phone and a couple of people suggested I avoid the wildfire but they didn't go into specifics.0 -
Have you considered the ongoing cost of calls/texts/data as well as the original purchase price?
I you dont have a contract it may be worth thinking about this to get the most out of your new phone.
I'm an Android man myself but even I would say that this deal for an Iphone 4 (not the S version) is worth looking at.

got Nokia 800 and its great okay at the mo no flash is a gripe not a pain, see if you can use SkyDrive you can on the 800 and cannot see why not on 710 that will give you an extra 16 gig of back up ,apps seem more expensive than apple or google and Nokia are constantly evolveing the lumia range with updates to improve and refine the phones lets face they have had there back to the wall still have but what a phone0

had Lots of Different phones through the years and now have a Lumia 800, brilliant, best phone I have ever had. I've let all my friends play with it and quite a few have now got their own. my partner got the 710 for only £15 a month from orange and that's with 500mb internet. Think her texts are unlimited but she has only 300min talkyime which is enough for her :-)
Just to add she was an Orange costomer and this was an upgrade.Gave up trying to have funny Sigs..0
