:j It isn't much but it all helps. Especially when I thought I wouldn't get to put ANYTHING in at all this month
Dine in 2 for £8 at M&S with 02 priority moments code folks if you have the app. I'm tempted but resisting at the moment.0 -
Every little helps honey, every little helpsA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
Mortgage Balance = £0

Had a wee splurge today, £5.50 on an OPI nailvarnish (bargain), bought a MAC lipstick on Saturday for £5.00 (another bargain) and some craft items which should have cost £18 for £7 (further bargains). I'm not in a rush for any of them so may get OH to wrap them up for Christmas for me.
There is a code on the vouchers board for Boots Treat Street (basically like Quidco but for Boots points), you need to spend £1.00 at any of the online retailers and with the code you get £5.00 worth of Boots points added to your account. I bought something for £1.00 on eBay with free delivery and got £5.00 of Boots points. Hope that helps someone, I saw it on Grabbit! so can't take the credit.
Just filled out my Consumer Pulse for the week and earned 2000 pointsReally like it for minimal effort - thanks Unhappy Shopper
Found a baby-related item for £35 less today than I had already bought it. I'm going to take the original back, its worth the slight effort for that sort of saving.
Seem to have forgotten about DY but will get back on it today as the Makeup is still in Level 1 and I have LOADS I could write about (see above purchases as a starter!). Up to about £17.50 on there so doing OK for my £50 by the end of January goal
Nothing on adpoints yet this week yet
Ciao bonus categories are rubbish this month so I'm not bothering. Bah Humbug!
Busy weekend - finally finished the photobook and clicked "order" - only been working on it for 2 years so I'm finally glad to have finished the darned thing
Today I have decorated the Christmas cake and done some cleaning. Now to relax for the rest of the day I think and take it easy.
Still in budget for food, petrol, electricity etc (haven't filled up my car for at least 8 weeks now it is awesome) - also get an early payday which will end up going straight to the workmen!
No major jobs for the week, bits of tidying, laundry sorting and a few last presents to wrap, returns to sort out plus a major office tidy (notice that is on my list each week?!). Also need to sort out house insurance when the new renewal letter comes in.
No real MFW news in terms of cash saved but plodding on as best as I can0 -
Hi Ammonite,
Good progress on your MFW journey, achieving 6% in 7 months is not a mean task :T:T
This week there are lots of ads on adpoints - I have reached my limit of 250 points. :jOn O2 priority moments, I got free food from Upper Crust.
Look out for a telecom survey from CP, I think you get another 2000 points per month. Enjoy!Mortgage: @ Feb. 2007: £133,200; Apr. 2011: £24,373; May 2011: £175,999; Jun 2013: ~£97K; Mar. 2014 £392,212.73; Dec. 2015: £327,051.77; Mar. 2016: ~£480K; Mar. 2017 £444,445.74

Thanks for the tips US. I really like consumer pulse it is not too taxing and mount up quickly. Need to do my adpoints today and tomorrow, I have been a bit lax with them this week.
Written a few reviews for DY though I haven't made the most of the makeup being a level 1 this week, I hope to be better at it this week. I have lost my enthusiasm a wee bit but getting paid is always good!!!
Onepoll paid up and a very welcome payment it was too! Going into the house fund (which is dwindling rapidly as workmen are being paid!).
No eBaying and won't probably for a good while now.
Sorted my house insurance & filled up the car with petrol. Went a bit mad on the shopping front, instead of being really sensible I decided we had had no treats in for Christmas this year so bought various nibbly party food, pringles and mince pies which kind of came to about £40 that I hadn't really banked on. We've still got some social budget left as we aren't going out at the moment so I guess we could use that. Otherwise, its an early Christmas present to ourselves lol.
Once again counting the days down until Payday!
ISA/savings/mortgage pot still fully intact.0 -
Morning all - no news from me on the MFW front. Patiently waiting for mini-ammonite to arrive now! Also less than a week until payday!
All work on the house almost complete which of course means people need to be paid! I am still clinging on to my ISA! We have absolutely no pennies whatsoever but I can't believe we have managed to pay for all this work so far without dipping into savings as I expected the whole lot to have to come out of savings - and sadly it's cost us about £1000 more than expected. So for none of it so far to be paid from savings is a major achievement and means my first mortgage overpayment scheduled for April is still a goer
Cars are fairly full of petrol, freezer and cupboards are fairly well stocked so hopefully we can keep living costs to a minimum over the next month - we will probably be OK as both of us are off work and due to mini-ammonite, won't be going out spending lots of money over Christmas. Baby cupboard very well stocked too so not too much money to be spent in that region either.
OK nothing else to report just thought I'd bob my head in and say hello0 -
Morning Ammonite, we'll all be looking forward to virtually meeting mini Ammonite. Hopefully by now you're putting your feet up and having a rest
