Just tried to login to adpoints again and there is an error - I have a feeling they have a few technical problems! Glad I didn't watch too many more ads!
OK Everyone may now bash me over the head. Online I spend more money on Amazon than anywhere. I have only just remembered they do Nectar points. Feel like crying at the amount of Nectar points I've missed out on. Really, really need to get a life!!!!!!!0 -
Yes, but ive only just discovered TCB! so we all do it.

Nectar give points on eBay too! I had a moment when I remembered this and we had just spent £300 on a chicken coop. Ah well, onwards and upwards!Slow progress is better than no progress.

I didn't realise you could! I'll need to take a look at Quidco and see what the deal is...0 -
HDK - Still having probs with adpoints, I think it is a generic error though rather than just for me. Going to wait it out a couple more days.
Edinburgher - Quidco cashback for eBay you don't get it on the actual sale price just the revenue generated for eBay by the sale. Cashback amounts are low but better than nothing
MFB50 and Quintwins - Frustrating to realise these things late on but as HDK said, that is the beauty of the forums to learn something new every day.
Feeling a bit cheesed off with nPower - the person at the company didn't ring me back last night as promised so I rang up today. The supervisor had listened back to the call and insisted the customer (me!) fully understood that it was a variable gas tariff - why on earth would I ring up to say "I thought I was on a fixed but this letter says its variable" if I had understood it?! Anyway, early exit fee of £30...tempted to take it and go to a different company even though I'm usually very happy with nPower, I just feel as though they were always going to side with their sales advisor. Grr - anyway as Sepa said...maybe I'll be better off on the variable?! who knows we will see..either way its got to be better than the standard tariff which we were on
As I'm at home more we've been using approx. £5 per week more in electricity but still saving £25 per week on petrol so not too bad.
Made use of CamelCamelCamel, one of the baby things I was after came down to a price I was willing to pay. Saved £40 on the RRP and then because I've signed up to Amazon Family trial I got another £10 off (£10 off £50 spend on Baby items) so total savings of £50 PLUS NECTAR POINTS! I didn't forget! Also get Amazon Prime free for 3 monthsIf you have a baby it is probably worth signing up for the trial but I won't be paying the £49/year to keep Amazon Family after that as I don't think the savings are that good but worth it for free!
Going great guns on DY - £68 I'm up to now, just hope they don't change the bonus categories soon as I have loads more reviews to write! Earnt a few pence with Onepoll too - I am £2.50 (and probably about a year!) away from a payout...can't wait!
eBaying will probably commence at the weekend with listings running for one week.
Did a bit more online Christmas shopping yesterday and used vouchers and cashback which is always helpful!
That's all from me!0 -

We have early exit fees of £20 for each of our fuels - will be leaving as soon as our current bill is generated this week. I joined them as they were the best price at the time, as this is no longer the case we're off!0 -
nPower have been the cheapest for us for ages and the customer service is usually excellent (call backs rather than waiting in queues for ages etc.), I just feel let down this time and annoyed with myself I guess. Still as Sepa said it might not be so bad. The tariff we're on now is still cheapest....just depends how many price rises there are as to if that remains the case by Jan 2014!0
