  • I think my security settings are high on my fb so pm me your names and I'll add you.

Would love to be OS at this refuge but it's hard. Been here since monday.

My side of the house has 5 women with their kids (including me and my 3 kids) 3 of the other woman are so skanky and disgusting.
  • Ha ha ha at blue tablet!

I've got an iPad. I wouldn't be without it, it's great. Especially being here as it keeps me up to date with the outside world.

Sorry been mia again, just dont seem to get much time to post somedays. ds2 was on scout camp this weekend had to drop him off 7pm friday and collect at 11am today and I think as they were in tents, they were a little bit on the minging side this morning. He has enjoyed it though and wants to go on the next one. we have also looked after a neighbours dog overnight last night, an 8 month old lab puppy. he is our doggie walking friend, it was like a mad house, good job I have wooden floors! I have mopped them today but will need a good scrub.

os today mopping floors, wm on and hung on airers, all ironing for this week done. made chicken stirfry for dinner. dw loaded and will put on overnight. ds2 dumped in the bath, which will need cleaning after he has finished.

MrsMH - Welcome back,((hugs)) to you all, hope you are soon out of the refuge, are you still in Southend?
Sistercas - hope your dd feels better soon, shingles is so painful.

LOL @ Redruby it did cross my mind about those types of tablets but I thought I'd go with the gadget angle first ;)

MrsMH how long do you think you'll be at the refuge for? How are kids coping? Xxx sorry to sound paranoid but is this username safe on MSE?

    Evening all

Haven't been particularly productive today unfortunately, but had lovely roast lamb dinner, joint roasted beautifully - wonder if that's because I bought it from a butcher not the SM? That butcher always has 3 x fresh chickens for £10 too - have used him in the past think I may have to start going again. Was a bit naughty a bought another bottle of wine so have spent more but was enjoyed greatly by DH and myself! Have got ironing done so am starting the week up to date, did bake on Friday so the tins are full, fridge and freezer reasonably full and a menu plan done - so realistically I don't need to spend any more money - we shall see! DS2 birthday is on Thursday so will need to organise cake, could easily make one for fraction of the cost but he loves a choc one that's done MrA and he isn't having that much prezzie wise, so feel a bit mean not to get him one.

    Keep safe and well,

Arghhh I crashed my car today!! Aquaplaned right into someone's rear!! I came off worse, but just a sore neck. Called my insurers and my excess is more than my car is worth!!

    Nightmare weekend really!
