Well dog walking was hideous. Everything is kow drying on rads as I put the heating on. Fields and local brook are slowly flooding  I shall need waders much more of this.
Am planning on hibernating today :rotfl: am about to soothe my soul with poached eggs on toast <drools>
BB well done on your jumble sale, never see them here anymore

Morning all
Horrific weather here too, pouring and blowing a gale . I thought we had turned a corner yesterday cos it didn't rain and we even saw some sunshine! Guess not. Glad I did my washing yday now.
The Avengers Assemble film is awesome
I really really enjoyed it!! It's quite funny too, lots of in -jokes for the Marvel geeks (erm...that's me!
).
No idea what I'm going to do today. I had fancied going for an explore in the car, but not in this weather. I may just cwtch in on sofa and watch films.
OS wise - need to hoover, tidy and put laundry away. I'm also going to do some baking - banana bread and date flapjacks. Both WW recipes, I will freeze in portions so not tempted to eat it all :rotfl:.
Have a good day all, stay dry.

Morning All
Lovely day here - blue skies, sunny and a lovely drying breeze! My bed is stripped and in the WM. Will go round looking for washing today!
BB great bargains at the jumble sale, wish there were some here, used to see them all the time but as Bitsy says you don't see any now.
Work last night was very busy but good fun, the new team seem to be ok although we didn't finish till after 11.
Roast for dinner tonight, some friends are coming round too so shall enjoy seeing them. Right, off to find washing. Take care. XX0 -

Morning everyone
Love and hugs to those that are having a hard/sad time at the moment x
Dark, windy and raining, started yesterday and hasn't stopped since! We used to have a large tree in our front garden not very far from the house, and our neighbour asked 2-3 years ago whether we'd be interested in having it cut down, as it was blocking his satelite (sp?) signal - it was leaning quite badly by this point so we were going to get it cut down ourselves, so we agreed and he paid half - was done and dusted within a couple of weeks, after all this very windy weather I'm so pleased we did it as when the tree surgeon cut it down he said it was diseased and any pro-longed windy weather would have meant it would have fallen down; our house is on a downward slope so tree would have fallen onto the house!!
Wasn't particularly productive yesterday, did manage to make pavlovas which we had for dessert last night with fresh strawberries and cream, some left for dessert today, have half leg of lamb for lunch, oven all set on automatic with meat in ready for when oven turns on automatically. DH and boys already up and out they will be back shortly and then DH and I have to go out to do a couple of jobs, then it'll be home and no-one will be moving very far I think. If I get chance will tackle the ironing mountain that I didn't touch yesterday, but may just leave it until I get in from work tomorrow - it'll get done at some point.
We're intending to clear out the porch today, as it's a major dumping ground and I'll get DH to sort through the papers from the dumping ground in the lounge - I'll shred what needs to be got rid of.
Hugs to those that want/need them, keep safe and well x

Morning all,
Blimey the weather has been so bad , its been blowing a gale all night, and lashing with rain, our fence is down in the garden, still pouring now, so no washing today.
Have stripped the bed, but will leave washing it till tomorrow in the hope that it brightens up a bit.
BB I love a jumble :T, you will soon become like me and scour the local papers etc looking for them :rotfl:, we have got some fab bargains, dd gets a lot of 'vintage' clothes at them.
Dinner today will be chicken curry, I will also make up a chicken casserole for wednesdays dinner, and freeze it, I also got a nice bit of brisket out of the freezer for tomorrows dinner.
Wont be venturing far today, will give the dog a couple of quick walks, and that will be it.
Got items finishing on ebay today, and more to list, I like to have at least 5 things on there a week, it keeps the pennies rolling in.
OK better get on, have good days all xx0 -

Morning all, rubbish weather here too so Jack and I got soaked on our walk and we only did a short one. Think it will be a day indoors today and DS and I will have to toss a coin as to who takes Jack for a walk later if this continues. Hope JackieO is faring better in Dorset.
Hugs to all who need them glad you are reading Molly I think we all need to see some sunshine to wash away the bad moods.
